This place is great. Really good and interesting beers. Tasty and cheap food. Nice servers. Outdoor seating area. English menu. Wish we could go back again but sadly we are not in Olomouc anymore.

Not just the restaurant, but the whole town of Olomouc was a delightful surprise on our University Music Tour. This restaurant is very close to the University and popular with Faculty members and students alike, the latter mainly for the beer, but we thought the food was also excellent. We were staying at the Clarion Congress Hotel and this restaurant... More

Small brewery. Very good beer (Vašek is the best 10st, that I know), but a reservation is usually necessary.

Possibly the best beer of our trip, referring to the dark beer. We ordered the venison and the goulash and it was all very, very good. This was a great meal. I regret that we arrived to late for the beer spa. The prices were very reasonable as well.

We went here for a beer and something to eat following a 109km bike ride from Ostrava. The beer was good, of course, and the beef goulash with dumplings hit the spot! Atmosphere traditional Czech and price good. Just a comment- the staff shouldn't feel that they have to come over and ask if everything is alright every 10 minutes!

Service was attentive. Food and beer was excellent. We enjoyed it so much, we returned for a second dinner here. This is a relaxed place to eat dinner, filled with locals. Try the veal, duck, and my favorite the stuffed pork loin.

This charming pub restaurant is popular with students and faculty. The interior is traditional and convivial with big brass brew kettles. There is a small terrace in the back. They have a selection of their own beers of varying strengths. Even a small glass of the medium strength made me a little dizzy so beware. They serve a mixed beer... More

If you are in olomouc this is the place to go to. Between the food and the beer you will have a great night. However if you are also willing to try things you may not see at home like i did, pivovar is the place.

It was 130 czk ($5.49) for three .5 liters and one .3 liters. I got the Hefe-Weizen and cherry beer. Cherry was better. My husband got Tmavé pivo pana Bruna and their special: Rabbiho Lowa. He liked the Tmavé better. They have an English menu and English-speaking waiters. The brewery is very close to the university. We didn't order any... More
