One of the goals of our trip was to eat pork cheeks....and we had them here.....good, but nothing special......by that I mean that it was pieces of pork, not thin as I had imagined. I've never seen them (or beef cheeks) on a menu in the United States (home). They were well-prepared, tasty, in some gravy. I was happy.
My wife had garlic soup.....and it was different than the garlic soup that we have made at home for years. She was happy with it but thought that our recipe was better.
Service was a little slow, but I would not discourage anyone from going here.

Nice place, tasty food, fair price, excellent beer. We visited on recommendation on Saturday noon. The restaurant was not very crowdy what was appreciated. The waiting time for food was not longer than 10 minutes. It was very good tip and nice experience.

The food was great! We had moravian goulash with knedliki and potato pancakes with Olomouc cottage cheese. Vegatarian options available. Very nice variaty of local beers (I guess in Czech it's standard). Very polite and English speaking staff.

Used to be a great pub with excellent beer, food and service and a nice little beer garden outside. Now been taken over by Budvar, with watery beer and unpleasant metal chairs and tables in the beer garden. A crash course in how to ruin a pub.

My wife and I and a local friend had an extended dinner and card night at Snyt. It was a very local crowd and obviously is very popular as the place was full. The beer and atmosphere are excellent. The food was at best ok - don't get the "ribs" - not very good. The duck was ok and our friend's fish was very good. As long as you keep buying beer you can stay and we did through a long card game. Dinner for 3 and 8 half liter beers totaled 40 euros.

I recently spent a long weekend in Olomouc, and made this my base. The staff were friendly, the beer delicious, and the food was wonderful.

We stopped for a lunch in the beautiful town, Olomouc and didn't regret it. In Snyt we had a great typical Czech lunch for decent price. Absolutely recommended.

Nothing really special but two decent and enjoyable meals on the cold and rainy day we had that day - schnitzel and steak - both tasty and a decent portion. Good, cheap beer too. Would eat here again and recommend.

We stopped for a quick beer enroute to our dinner and sampled several of the Lobkowicz offerings. The beers were superb and who (other than Czechs) would devise four ways to (correctly) tap and serve beer with desired levels of foam/froth?
If this sound great give them a try!

OK decor, OK service, and OK menu. I think the menu is probably the best part - pretty good traditional Czech dishes - but the atmosphere is really somewhat lacking - I have to believe you can do a lot better so close to the city center.

This is a branded pub from the Lobkowicz group, which owns several midsized breweries in Czech Republic. This of course means their pubs feature a nice rotation of beers from the various breweries within their portfolio.
The pub has a nice enough interior, but is let down by a decidedly average kitchen. The food is standard pub grub, nothing more.

The restaurant is located near Horní náměstí, so I thought it would offer something extra. However, I was disappointed - I waited more than twenty-five minutes for the food and the taste was not very dazzling. Unfortunately.
