After a nice but a bit steep ascent from Jesenik you meet romantic building on Křížový vrch. The restaurant offers traditional Czech cuisine and steaks. Goulash with dumplings and deep fried cheese were both great. There is a children corner inside restaurant. And you can...even arrive by car, but you'll miss the real experience.More

It is a good restaurant with a beautiful view of the town of Jesenik. The meals are tasty, though not very cheap. In nice weather you can sit outside and enjoy the surroundings and nature.

Perched on the hillside with a beautiful view out over the mountains. Get there early if you want an outside table as there aren’t many and they quickly fill up on a sunny day. Inside is full of character with a definite hunting theme -...lots of stuffed game animals all over the walls - and a lovely big fireplace. The food was excellent, steaks being their specialty. The Hanger steak was a bit tough but the sirloin was superb. We all had the pancakes filled with plum jam and topped with whipped cream and poppy seeds and they were delicious.More

Too overrated. We like 45 minutes walk up the mountain to get to this place. The steaks were not bad. And I like the fact that servers were able to speak both Czech and Polish. Other than that pretty average typical hospoda with a good...view. No hand paper towels in a creepy bathroom. Servers were rather shy foodrunners than waiters who were pushing some $3 "sauce" together with stakes that appeared to be some tasteless oil mixed with butter. Prices above average. No surprise every patron I saw was leaving with kinda dissapointed look.More

The food was good and the service was really nice and helpful as well. I would really recommend having dinner or lunch here.

Because this restaurant had already positive references on Trip advisor, we have decided to try it as well. We were very surprised from magic exterior and interior as well. The food was delicious. I can fully recommend to try this place.

Great restaurant with very good steak and other partly local meat specialties. 3 vegetarian dishes, delicious deserts and a variety of wines. Very attentive staff and nice cosy atmosphere with a big fireplace and beautiful decoration. We tried the restaurant on the day of arrival...and ended up with having dinner here every night during the entire stay because of the great food and very good value for money. It's been one of the best places in the area, where to experience some good quality wining and dining, for ages. The view is fantastic, especially if you visit in the evening during sunset. Food is very good and staff are friendly and courteous. You...may also get accomodated there, which we did in past. Both hotel and restaurant are very well maintained. What else do you need?More

The place is ridiculously understaffed, the owners should feel ashamed. The poor 2 waiters were running around but everyone was leaving thirsty and frustrated.The food was ok but overall, it was an unpleasant experience.

One early morning we went running up the hill. It was early, before restaurant opens. The door was open so I just peeked in and saw waiter setting up tables. Nevertheless he asked us if we would like to have something anyways. We just ordered...two coffees. We were so impressed by the experience we returned later for dinner. Amazing food! Lovely service and kids friendly :-) One of my favorite places now.More
