Went with my daughter and husband. I had the hummus with aubergine and they had hummus with lamb. Mine was stunningly good. Theirs was very good too. Swert service. Dont get a bloody mary. Made with chopped tomatoes rather than tomato juice which was a...pity as otherwise it would have been really goodMore

Not bad place for drinks as it has great beer and wine options and delicious coffee. Regarding food it depends - as menu changes weekly it can be good or a bit weird (this place caters to nowadays fashionable glutein freen vegan eco crowd). Not...possible to pay with card which is big minus.More

I suspect all brno restaurants are divided into three types: traditional Czech cuisine with Foreshank and beer, high cuisine and italian fast food (pizza), but sometimes there are exceptions. This is exception. And it's very oringinal. it is not as heavy as traditional Czech cuisine...and moderately spicy. But it's not for children (except middle Eastern). Every dish was a mystery for us, but children was very conservative and refused to even try.More

We came here on Easter Sunday for Easter lunch. I was very excited to try their Easter menu that was announced on their Facebook. When we came in, I think after 12, there was no one at the restaurant. I was bit worried. To be...honest, the café is bit out of a main street and a bit hidden but I was surprised that we were alone. Fortunately, some more guest came straight after us. And everything started to be right.. An interior of the café is based on birds theme. You can hear a voice of bird because they have a cage with small bird in it. That atmosphere is really very nice and springy. I had to order something from Easter menu, I couldn’t decide which one. My pick was rabbit with quinoa, asparagus, garlic and vegetable. OMG that was simply the best rabbit dish that I have ever eaten. Amazing taste, colorful plate and incredible smell. Top of that their chef brought our dish, very cute lady. So we could see a person who made the dish for us. Thank you for making my Easter happy.More

To have breakfast at this place is not my favorite, but I like the fine food for lunch or dinner. And they have that dining-sofas, I know from Iran.

I had to go for the full lunch menu, plus dessert, as I'd skipped breakfast, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. The amuse bouche was a very tasty bruschetta type creation, with a lovely rich sundried tomato paste. This was followed by...a warming lamb and noodle broth - much needed in today's freezing temperatures! For main I chose the quinoa salad with warm tofu, which was so good, and for dessert I opted for the best-looking one in the cabinet, which turned out to be cardamom flavoured chocolate cake with a bitter cream. Everything was perfect, including the waitress's wine recommendation, attention and friendliness. Service is notoriously bad in Czech Republic, but not in my experience so far. It was a set menu for lunch today, but when the food's this good I'm very happy for the hosts to choose for me! This is quite a modest-looking place, so possibly more appropriate for lunch/a very casual dining experience. Highly recommended though.More

We ate at Cafe Pilat after a long day of hiking south of Brno. We sat outside in the square and the location and service were excellent (our server even spoke some English). We shared a appetizer sampler that everyone enjoyed. I really likes the...chicken and rice dish I had which included pickled broccoli and small onions. Highly recommended as an alternative to the standard Czech restaurant menu.More

We think that this is a health food restaurant, but we popped in to try & get some late breakfast & they had a lovely kofta like dish with eggs & a bean of some sort in a tomato sauce which ended up like a...post sausage egg & baked beans & was great.More
