Szeged is a city filled with history & culture. Great to visit & the locals embrace visitors. There is a tourist information centre & I would recommend the walking tours. The city is also very safe and friendly to get around yourself.

Being familiar with hungarian cusine I was pretty surprised to the goulasch being cooked in a czech way, meaning with plenty cumin and the almost minced-like beef. It wasn't bad at all but I did not see anything hungarian in the way most of the...food was cooked, nor in the atmosphere.More

As a Hungarian I was really excited to go to Hungarian restaurant, 1st bad sign was that non of the waiters spoke any Hungarian, the menu was only in Czech, we ordered 4 different type of food but non of them reminded me on anything...Hungarian, and they all tasted the same. Some friends advised to book the food in advance, so they will prepare it well, maybe in future will try this option.More

The restaurant is generally not bad, but the food they serve has nothing in common with the Hungarian quizine. It is a typical Czech restaurant with a typical Czech menu. Lunch menu is cheap and edible. Don't expect large portions (well, for this price, probably...you won't expect it from the beginning). They have a separated room for non-smokers.More

I only ate there once. The dish was a _little_ pricier, but good and worth the money.
