I was a little dissatisfied by this place as I had heard good reviews. Also the cuisine itself sounds very interesting, or at least it's not so usual in Brno. But when me and my friends got to the place, I was shocked by the...prices. I paid almost 90 crows for American lemonade. Neither the beer or non-alcoholic drinks were cheap. The same goes for meals. I had quesadillas and I found the taste being average. What exactly on that meal costs 225 crowns? I tried enchiladas that my fried had ordered and I found it much better. The seating outside was totally full so this place must be famous. Sitting inside wasn't that full. Toilets horrible - first I couldn't close the door at the toilet, then open it. Possible to pay with a card.More

Love this place!

Big portions of food, which can be rather considered for 2 people, so even though the prize might seem quite high, you get good quality and quantity meal. Staff could improve sometimes, but overall always nice and helpful.

Awful expirience!

We had a team building there, well, basically dinner.. unpleasant surprises came from very beginning: some prices on their web site and in their menu were different! Beimg quite higher in the Menu.. All of us (8 people) ordered different meals (to taste as much...as we could), and all the meals came without side dish, which you have to pay separately.. See foto.. this cost 20 euro.. Generally all the meals were havily over-priced, for ex.: starter + steak - 50 euro. Then, being in "Mexican" resto you expect to have at least good deeps.. We tasted 6 different, and found that all of them (except Mutard one) were tastless and flat.. Service.. haha! 3 of them apparently had troubles to serve a couple of tables, many times waiter forgot to bring what had been ordered, and generally all the stuff was not friendly at all. Never again!More

Saturday afternoon

Went to don miguel's for a "quick" meal and drinks and in the end wasn't that quick since you don't want to leave the space. xD the food was good, the prices matches with the offer. Nice environment, the staff was polite and friendly. In...summary was a well spent afternoon. Recommended :)More

Great meal with family

My fiancé and I went with her father on a Thursday evening, I can see this place being busy in the summer months! We had two perfectly cooked steaks , the staff were friendly and happy to guide us through the options, my father in...law (to be) had the rib platter with his partner , thoroughly enjoyed it , had better ribs in Brno but overall a really great night out! Mexico

I really like Don Miguel's. Also really popular place in Brno. Despite the large capacity of the restaurant (terrace during summer), sometimes it could be challenging to find the table to sit in the evening. After my last visit I have to say That quality...of the food has gone down a bit (Could be Another chef). But still dishes are really tasty, and amazing guacamloe of course. Nice staffMore

Great service and good taste of meals

Yesterday I spent here some time with my friends, I was happy that I discovered such a place with great service and good taste of meals. I'm little bit sad about the spicy icons in the menu - I ordered Chilli con carne and it...supposed to be spice but it wasn't. Bad quality and overpriced

Weren't there for a dinner, I ordered paella. It was not entirely hot, when waiter brought it and some mussels had a weird taste. Me and my hasband shared paella and both had problems with stomach after.Also the waiter asked if we liked the dish,...but didn't bother to hear an answer. Bottom line: stay away from the place, there are many other nice places in Brno to go.More

Delicious and very pleasant!!

My family and me had a very pleasant visit to Don Miguel's Bar. We were met with good service from the very beginning by polite waitors. A big plus is the smoke-prohibit area(!). Excellent and quick service with delicious food, and a good English-speaking waitor...with good recommendations. The restaurant in it self was pretty and with a good Mexican atmosphere, and with clean toilets.This is a veeery good restaurant, and we would highly recommend it! The prices are a bit higher than expected, considering location, but worth every penny/korun!More

Tasty, big portions

The food is delicious and the portions are big, neat and stylish. English menu, nice and English speaking staff. Still, they charge you for bread and sauces, even if you don't ask for it. The 2nd time I told them I don't need any.

Up and down

Sometimes great, sometimes could be better, and I would go there again. Not overpriced, good average meal for reasonable price. If all tables are reserved as the barman, there may be a table left...

excellent

I´ve been in this restaurant more times before and I higly recommend it. great atmosphere, cheerful staff, amazing food for good price. as I steak fan I can say this is one of the best steakhouses in Brno
