We have been at this restaurant with very little expectation. It was a pleasant surprise for us, food turned out to be pretty good and delicious.

Nobody wants to be called silly, lots of people long for being wise. The best way how to learn is to travel the world. Another perfect way to discover life pleasures is tasting good things that belong to different cuisines. I have tried palak paneer...in more than ten Brno restaurants and my winner is the one repeatedly prepared in the Light of India restaurant. I cannot resist, I have to have it. That is the reason I invite friends and motivate them to try anything else. So there is a chance I at least taste from their plate. Keep trying and keep being enlighted!More

We are friends: male and female. Jarda loves lamb biryani, I am in love with palak paneer. Drinks on the table were: cold bier and hot Indian spicy tea. Harmony, good fun and pure happiness. This time my review is really short, but the satisfaction...from the dinner will last long. Let me wish you the same positive vibrations.More

Every season of year is perfect to visit the Indian restaurant. This autumn we have been attracted to the Light of India. We have started with papadum thin crispy crackers. We loved sipping the masala tea and then we chatting over eating the main courses....My choice was palak paneer and my friend was happy about her vegan dish.More

This is my local Curry House so I know the menu quite well but had never tried this item hidden at the back of their extensive Menu. Worked OK but if I had one complaint was the chunks of carrot in the salad. So as...this was a take-away as soon as I got home I grated the carrot into a more manageable pieces. Serving suggestion:- I use the Raita as a salad dressing and the Naan bread as a wrap! Cost 8Eur/$10More

I am a fan of Indian cuisine and several friends of mine are already are contaminated by this positive passion for spice food. My friend Iva is in love with palak paneer, spinach with Indian cheese. My friend Jarda enjoys every bite that incorporates lamb,...especially biryani. I like both vegetarian dishes, for example royal vegetable mix, and meat dishes too, e.g. chicken vindalloo. My favourite drink in this restaurant is the Indian spicy tea wiht milk.More

Concept similar as in many other Indian restaurants in Brno - you have some lunch menus to choose from and one mix, also like a lunch menu. I saw Indians in kitchen, although waitresses were Czech girls so you don't have a problem to communicate...in this restaurant. I aslo saw that they are pretty flexible as one customer wanted to change her order after few minutes - they told it in a kitchen right away and were able to rewrite customer's order. One notice: this place has nicer toilets that other Indian restaurants in this city.More

Friendly staff, wide variety of different type of dishes, both spicy and mild. The portions are gigantic, easily to be shared by two people, Dal soup and lamb masala is delicious.

Very friendly staff. There is a very large selection which was extremely reasonably priced for the amount of food. As always, Indian cuisine offers many options for vegetarians and vegans. The night we went (middle of the week), somewhat early, we found a nice environment...which was calming. The biryani was really tasty and the butter naan was delicious.More

I have heard, that this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Brno, so I wanted to try it. The rumors were right - nice selection of food. I had a chicken phaal and even though it was brutally hot, I loved it. The...taste was incredible. Naan was very tasty. Sevice was nice and the mango lassi was also very tasty. If you feel you can take phaal, I recommend a drink on a youghurt basis :).More
