Wonderful steak house, the meal was exceptional and the dessert (a blackcurrant dish) was amazing, don't usually get dessert but cannot resist blackcurrant :) Great staff too, highly recommend

Dined at this restaurant recently whilst on a trip to Brno, and having read previous reviews. The meal was very good as was the service. Could not fault, certainly worth checking out if you are visiting.
It was an excellent dinner. Both starters (tuna tataki and tartare) and steaks were perfectly made. The choice of wines is very good, though only few choices are available if you ask for a glass. Soup is also good. Impeccable service and little time to...wait.More
We went there just to feel ourselves a little bit more than others, but unfortunately a group of men in hawaiian shirts and moustaches came in and ruined everything with their idiot laughter and agressive behaviour! Food was ok

This restaurant is in a good location, central. The decor is a bit cold and doesn’t really feel like a classic restaurant . We ordered the menu with 5 dishes because we wanted to have the opportunity to taste different food. The portions were really...small, the design beautiful and some of the dishes were quite interesting. I am not fan of the soup, with the pine flavor, for me it was a bit too oily but my husband liked it. I really enjoyed the duck and carpaccio. The fish was regular aside from the size. And the desert was a bit of a disappointment. However overall it was an unique experience. I appreciate that the prices are not for everyday occurrence but if you look for something a bit different this is a place. The service was nice although not very warm (on the same note as the decor). One more observation this is not a family friendly place, unless all are grown up. 😀More
We went to this restaurant on Christmas Eve. The food for the ordinary menu was alright. But the service was rather unpleasant, rather slow and a bit impersonal. Especially for a restaurant of this caliber. The worst part of the evening was that in advance...we asked for a vegan meal. The restaurant confirmed this not to be a problem. However, the food was absolutely the most uninspiring and tasteless affair we ever witnessed. All but one course were very poor with the worst being the main course being plain supermarket pasta with a bit of olive oil. Then when the bill came they tried charging the same amount for the ordinary meal as the vegan “meal”. When complaining about this, in the most polite way possible I was shouted at by the maitre. They could have saved the problems by simply stating their chef was incapable of preparing vegan food (which in 2019 is ridiculous). Will never go here again.More
Brno is a very beautiful city and has some delicious food, great beer and wine too, we tasted some delicious food at Restaurant Pavillon, during our one day stay in Brno Czech Republic. Where to eat in Brno, what to eat in Brno, things to...do in Brno are some of the question that we had before visiting this beautiful city. After a bit of research International Foodie Guide decided to eat Czech food with modern touch at restaurant Pavillon, the food was complimented with wine from their Moravian region. This was the first time we were trying Czech food for lunch, we tasted some of the best Czech food with a lot of innovation and elegance. 1. Lobster Bisk with tuna 2. Smoked salmon with dill sauce 3. Sturgeon with puree from apple cider, horse radish 4. Pork cheek with pear and red cabbage marinated in fortified wine 5. Chicken with chestnut puree and chicory 6. Chocolate pave 7. Pumpkin creamBrule a video review of this lunch is also available on youtube, please search for International Foodie Guide, the video is named where to eat in Brno Czech RepublicMore
Firstly, I will say that the restaurant is excellent value for money for the standard of food. The tasting menu with wine pairings would cost double at a similar restaurant in the UK. My score is based solely on the food, if I was judging...the restaurant decor and vibe, it would be lower. However, I visited on a Tuesday evening so it was very quiet. I’d imagine the weekends would be more atmospheric. The menu is simple, with enough choices to suit most tastes. Pumpkin soup starter was deliciously creamy and full of flavour, but my fillet steak wasn’t left to rest for long enough meaning a lot of blood on the plate. Still, it was very tasty and the pomme purée and mushroom accompaniment were lovely. Star of the show was the pumpkin creme brûlée. Rich and creamy with a ginger bread crumb on side to balance out the sharp sorbet. I loved it! Service was prompt and friendly. I just felt the surroundings were a let down. If they modernised the interior a bit, it would be 5*. Also serving Prosecco in wine glasses is a big no no for me, but I’m being picky. Overall, a good meal and I would recommend Pavillon if you’re visiting Brno.More
After looking on TripAdvisor for recommendations I found this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing and the service was very good. I had the taster menu with wine selection and everything paired perfectly / great value for money
Went for my daughters birthday. Nice comfortable room, nice waiter. Very good starter of mushrooms, interesting foie gras parfait slightly too sweet and ok pork kidneys. Wanted to drink moravian wine and the first bottle was a bit acidic and not great. Daughters scallops cooked...perfectly but too much cauliflower. All the dishes were good but not great and at those prices they should be perfect. Pet hate. Rather bad music like one gets in a lift in a department store. Pity good food does not need bad music. Hope it was just an off night because some of the food was really deliciousMore
It has taken abou 1&1/2 hours to get the main course. No apology from the staff, didn ´ t pay much attention to us anyway...The steak I had was very good, maybe the fact that I was really starving, helped a bit 😀 I would...not recommend this restaurant at all.More
We had the tasting menu with wine paring and were very happy with our choices. The dishes were well prepared and presented, the wines of a good quality. Overall very nice dining experience. The service was quite attentive as well, no complaints whatsoever
Not so great. The pork tenderloin was raw. As a consolation, the bathrooms were clean and that's why it gets a 2.
The waiters know to market this restaurant. The prices are expensive. Does not meet expectation. Quality of dish ok not more Value for money poor
