This place is a must when you visit Brno. They have homemade pasta with different kinds of sauces and they are really tasty! I also had a glass of chardonnay and it was good! Staff was really kind and the woman that served us spoke...good English. Prices are affordable. I really recommend it!More

Service - Probably the only major thing making a difference between Cattani Veveri and Cattani Josefska is the service. It's slower and not so pleasant in general. I also recall one very crappy experience: myself plus two came for a sunday lunch, the place was...empty with one table occupied by a guy and a girl. They looked at us in a weird way, I had a feeling like one of them is probably a server, but they remained seated and talked for another 5 to 10 minutes. Then the guy stood up, took an aprin an took our order. Seriously? (2.5/5) Food - Top quality homemade pasta, great selection of sauces, daily menues. Love the bread served with soups. (5/5) Drinks - As they're not focused on drinks, I won't rate anything. General - I don't like the interior as the one on Josefska, but it's decent. If you need to eat well and are around Veveri, I'd still recommend you go here.More

I am visiting this restaurant from pretty much the very beginnings. They always offer very tasty homemade pasta and variations of daily and permanent sauces. They have kept their high cooking level for many years and I will be happy to keep going there.

Cattani is a must-visit when you tour Brno! You can choose from 10 kinds of pasta and 5 sauces, and both the pasta and sauces are delicious and taste so fresh! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This small and cozy restaurant is really a hidden gem in Brno. They prepare their own homemade pasta with their homemade sauces as well. What I like about this restaurant that you can really customize the dish, you can pick the pasta type and the...sauce too.They also offer daily menu which has some more exiting types of sauces. The value is great as well, the portions are well balanced, perfect for a dinner, you're going to be full but not in a bad way. I personally had the gorgonzola sauce with fettuccine and it was delicious, I would maybe add a little bit of creaminess it was a tiny bit dry, but the flavor was spot on. My mum got one dish from the daily menu, it was spaghetti with mushrooms and parsley, really delicious as well. We were served very quickly, it took about 10 minutes. The one downside to this restaurant is that it's really hard to get there sometime, we arrived and the restaurant was booked, but thankfully they sneaked a table for us half an hour later ! The wait was worth it :) Would recommend.More

The meal that I ordered was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I had gnocchi with pesto and almonds but it was incredibly salty. Apart from the terrible saltiness, all I could taste was garlic, not to mention that...there was a huge excess of oil. I am aware that main ingredients in pesto are garlic and oil but I have had different kinds of pesto and none of them tasted like this one. Moreover, the service was horrible too. The waitress looked like we were bothering her and when I was about to pay she kept the change even though I did not say it was for her (I always tip but was not planning on doing it after this).More

Fresh and tasty homemade pasta,you can choose the different kind of pasta and the sauce. There are not so many options. They also offer some daily offers which are not described in the menu but in a blackboard. Very friendly staff.

Cattani has delicious homemade pasta and some of the best gnocchi I have ever had! You can tell it is homemade and all the ingredients are fresh. I was in Brno for a little over a month in summer 2014 and I visited this restaurant...3 or 4 times with friends.More

The restaurant itself is not something beautifull, but they have very good homemade pasta, for reasonable prices.

Perhaps the friendliest staff we have met in the Czech Republic. Great prices, great quality. Great vegetarian options and amaIng prices. The available beer suggested was also an excellent choice.
