Business partners took me to this wonderful restaurant in the center near the Barcelo Hotel. Lunch is the main meal of the day in the Czech tradition, and we had the whole shebang: soup, main dish, and dessert. I would describe the food as nouveau...Czech or gourmet Czech, Basically the typical flavors but with more sophistication. Quite a bit more! Everything was beautifully presented and served with polite care. My soup was the classic mushroom, potato, and dill soup called Kulajda, Followed by a rabbit roulade with vegetables, followed by an assortment of house-made desserts including a gingerbread ice cream. I drank a local white wine, which was a delight. The service was impeccable throughout, and I would be remiss not to mention the gorgeously styled, crisp and clean premises. This is the best restaurant I have come across so far in Brno. It beats the dinner restaurant in my five-star hotel hands down. Vittorio offers a satisfying fine-dining experience which includes large wine glasses, white tablecloths, attentive table service, and artisan chefs who can...create dishes designed to make your taste buds tingle. And you can watch the chefs at work too. As a main course, I ordered a risotto with chanterelle mushrooms flavoured with lemon. Good texture, creamy and tasty. For the gourmand, a risotto would be regarded as an 'entree'. In short, the meal, a glass of Austrian wine and a coffee turned out to be excellent value for money. This restaurant is aiming for the stars. I will visit again, for sure.More

Vittorio restaurant must aspire to a Michelin star. The cuisine is awesome and better than many French Michelin restaurants that I have experienced. You get the impression that it is much easier to get Michelin stars in France, than any other place. I got their...5 dishes Mediterranean tasting menu and got 5 outstanding well-composed seafood dishes of exquisite taste. Fantastic value. Through this awesome experience we got a number of good wines inclusive a very nice Chablis. But the wines we will remember were all local grown Moravian white, red and dessert wines all from nearby Brno.More

Reading the reviews and price range here, we were hoping to receive near Michelin star food, service and decor. The furniture and interior design on the ground floor are average to kitsch. Not at all disturbing but also not at all inspiring. As we entered...to the restaurant and unfortunately the most disturbing element of the whole experience at this restaurant was the smell of fish in the air. (outside was 30 degrees, inside was not too airconditioned, and the left the fish and shellfish for display in the room). The meal portion is generous. The dishes have some degree of creativity and originality. We ate raw seafood appetizer, but it was not the freshest and not with much taste. Service was polite, attentive, smiling and rather passive. For the price they charge, we expected near Michelin in Prague quality of food, decor and service. So we were disappointed.More
Had a lovely dinner at the terrace together with 3 colleagues. Warm welcome by staff who showed us the fresh fish from the day. We had a perfect grilled tuna and cod, and monkfish from the menu. My husband and I had been looking for that perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I have to say we definitely found it! Food lovers that we are and with Mediterranean cuisine being our favourite, Vittorio was our first choice and what an...experience it was! From the time we arrived to the time we left (which we didn't want to do), we had an amazing time. Beautiful decor and pleasant music complemented the ambient atmosphere in which we really enjoyed all the lovely dishes (we had the Mediterranean tasting menu) and the wine. All the individual courses were delicious, well balanced in flavour (no need for further seasoning) and beautifully presented. Service was perfect - the young gentleman looking after us was very attentive, friendly as well as professional and had a great deal of knowledge of the ingredients, wine etc. Last but not least - I really appreciated the little stool for my handbag! We will certainly be back to try more dishes at Vittorio.More

I booked a table in Vittorio on Monday at 19:45. First of all, the restaurant is open on Mondays, secondly, they gave me a table, even though I came 1h in advance. My choice was tasting menu and it was the right decision! All dishes...were well balanced, cooked pretty fast and beautiful decorated. I decided not to take paring wines but ordered a glass of very nice Israeli Syrah wine. The music playing was not too loud and very relaxing. I was sitting on the second floor and it was fun to watch the chef and his assistant working through the glass. The waiter, who served me had a good English.More

Have eaten here 3 times now and love the food and the patio mezzanine floor. Food is great, good wine list. I will be back next time I'm in Brno. Highly recommend. Service is great, keep up the good work!!
This restaurant is very cosy and the sevice was excellent. The waiters spoke english, which has not always been the case here in Brno. The food was fantastic. Highly reccomend.
