It was nice and big portion. No complain. The design seemed nice. I don't know if it was authentic Czech s recipe but it was good.

I went there with my boyfriend as he is from Brno, and we sat down and had a pint ...and it was just great. I think people who love beer should come to visit this place as pilgrimage!! I can't rate the food, nor any other service provided by the pub, as I just had another pint!! czech beer is... More

We enjoyed this. It's a gloomy old cavern of a restaurant and doesn't look too smart - with it's group of smokers huddled behind a small fenced enclosure outside. But don't be put off , inside it's all hustle and bustle and huge mugs of foaming beer. Service is not attentive, but is pleasant and I loved the food which is... More

Ah! Can't say enough about this cozy restaurant with excellent beer and great food. Large potions. Very nice staff. Really liked this place! Quality is evidentially important to them. Thank you!

Atmosphere a little dated, which is my only reason for not giving this 5 stars. Portion size for the house specialties are more then sufficient for two to share. I had the pork knuckle , SO had the Moravian specialties, we each had a beer. Plenty of take away remained. Total cost was $25.00. On par with other restaurants we... More

Pegas has its own brewery and their beer called Gold, special... you just have to try it out, its a bit stronger then regular beer but tasty and creamy. Also i recommend the cuisine, baked pork knee or ribs, speciality 😉

The interior of pegas is pretty cool to check out. Lots of old brewing equipment and fermenters around. The typical czech food is nice and cheap. Service is really quick and efgicient but not as chatty as other smaller places if thats what youre after. Overall it was fairly touristic but still nice for a quick czech meal and a... More

The place offers great local beers and tasty, traditional food in an interesting environment and atmosphere, but nothing extra apart from that, with good prices. Still, it delivers what it promises, I have never left the place dissatisfied.

As mentioned, the food is nothing to rave about but the micro-brewed beers are affordable and tasty. We stopped in Brno for a quick dinner on our road trip - it is unlikely that I would come back here again.

Concierge at hotel recommended this restaurant. Obviously it is a tourist attraction as lots of groups came & left during our dinner. Huge dining hall, poorly ventilated. Good service great self brewed beers. The food on the other hand had seen better days. I have had roasted duck breast on red cabbage in many european cities, this was the worst... More
