Nice outdoor seating in patio. Food was average, meat and potatoes, not bad, nothing special. Service average as well.

Solid Czech Cuisine and Czech beers. All was fine, quite what you can expect from this chain everywhere. From the Czech traditional dishes to Beer food and Ribs. Nice outside-terrace, nice location.
Ordered US Burger. The waiter asked how I wanted it cooked. I asked for it rare. It came overcooked charred on outside and grey and dry in middle. Server did not do any checkback and had no interest when it was raised. No point asking...how you want something cooked if you are just going to serve it how the chef decides Disappointing at bestMore
Busy, even on a Monday night, so suggest booking. High seats and tables. Big portions. Recommend the pork knee and horseradish. Good mint tea as well. Wide range of options for beers.
Every year two and may more per year we visit this restaurant. Prices grove but for us it is better place in Brno. And very important that this place dog friendly: you can go inside and your friend always get water for free.
The food is delicious, portion are not that small and there is a pretty a lot of beer selection. Prices are on good level, visited it already a few times, strongly recommended
Visited the Potrefena several times. Good bar scene, (TV screens etc.), indoor and outdoor seating, good selection of drinks and food. Great service and will return
I always wanted to try this place, all my friends usually liked it and spoke highly of it. But it is just the worst customer service we recieved. Waitresses barking at their guests, so impolite, every question was a problem. They were a bit understaffed...and very stressed… why are you taking more customers in? Food was just average - for the prices they charge and don’t forget the charge for a tap water. Haha-pathetic! Tomato sauce on pasta on the kids menu was spicy. We sent it back. Food took 1h to arrive-no apology. The whole experience was so uncomfortable. Never again. I wish we walked out, when the waitress stopped my mum half way through a sentence and said she’s busy. Disgusting behaviour. Shame on you!More
Horrible service!!!! The food took an hour to arrive, waitress that served our table was not friendly and polite at all! Prices are too high considering service & overall ambience of the place! Would not recommend it at all to visit unless you are ready...to get spoilt mood and test your patience while waiting for the food :((( one of the worst experiences in Brno!!!More
Amazing place to visit, very big place! A pity that the service was not so good. Maybe it’s because it was so hot that day (36c). Totally not friendly. We keep to friendly back but a pity for us still the same 😒reaction.
We received this restaurant twice during our weekend stay in Brno. It offers good location and large summer terrace. The ladies who serve you are gorgeous and the food is great :)
We came here for lunch and ordered thru the lunch menu. Food was ok. Restaurant itself was nice. We were in a little hurry as we had a tour scheduled. After unsuccessfully trying to catch the eye of our server who passed by at least...4x, a member of our group said “Excuse me” with a smile, just in a slightly louder voice. Our server came and proceeded to tell her stating that we are in his country and we should not be doing things like we do in our country. We were a mix of American and Austrian in our group. She apologized but he proceeded to berate her in front of our group of 6 which led to an exchange of words. On the way out, the same server made a point to accost her and told us to go back to our country and never come back. Not sure if our being Asian looking had something to do with it? Restaurant: 3.5/5; Lunch menu: 3/5. Server:? He certainly could have handled it better as he works in a tourist area. We had very pleasant/normal/wonderful interactions everywhere else in Brno with other native Czechs.More
Rudeness galore with a dash of racism. Cold reception, but ok, he’s probably in a bad mood. But then he was ignoring us, no eye contact, as we needed the dessert menu. So I said "excuse me" with a smile to attract attention. And he...literally charged at me, saying we should not be yelling at waiters. "You can do it in your country, but not in mine". I was taken aback, not expecting it. So I said thank you for the lesson. He said "Go back to your country"! He then grabbed the menu back and said “you shld pay now. No dessert for you!" l ignored him on the way out. But he charged at me again. "Go back to your country! Never come back!" Wow.More
This popular cafe offers a wide variety of Czech dishes that are well prepared and presented. Our group ordered several favorites that everyone enjoyed. The location is very central to several hotels and Cabbage Square.
Lunch menu was nice, waiting stuff pleasant, service was prompt. I took one star away for raw garlic in my dish. But I will definitely be back and would recommend for quick lunch.
