This is a really quirky restaurant which doesn't look anything special from the outside and the menu by the door doesn't give away many clues either but once you are seated, the owner is friendly and welcoming and whilst the menu is only in Czech...and German there are plenty of pictures to explain what's on offer. The menu is extensive with a range of Mexican dishes. We opted for the Arizona burger which was beautifully cooked and came with bacon, cheese and a fried egg too. We also had the ribs which could have served two easily Definitely a place to visit and at just over £13 per person including drinks and a tip, its excellent value tooMore

We went here for a little family meet up in the end of November 2018. You can tell this place was smoking place before law ban it out by the first smell. Somebody really played with decor and I was truly amazed. Sadly thats the...only brownie point in here. Staff asked for the drink after 2seconds - no idea who can even look into menu in that time. Old 30pages menu with pictures look like from late 90’ (ok). Well I ordered something like Caesar salad - pretty average taste, nothing special, presented like in 90’. I mean this place can be so good - just move it into current century. Put out sad faces of staff, simple the menu and play with the plate decor + add some Tapas. Don’t worry - it wasn’t the worst lunch in this town.More

At this Mexican restaurant I had a very good pepper steak for a really good price (in comparison to Austria)! We had been a large group with children and everybody enjoyed it very much.

We have visited this fine almost mexican restaurant - not all foods are mexican so be carefull when you choose 😉. We have bean soup with nachos, it was little bit spicy but really fine. As main course we take fajitas and it was also...really tasty and fine big portion. Service was fast and correct. Only one thing to this restaurant is really dark inside, so it could be fine to have more light inside. We will come back for sure to try other mexican specialities.More

You can tell immediately that you are in Popocatepetl - interior is like after the volcano eruption, strange things in the ceiling, less creativity would help sometimes. However, there are also nice corners - tables surrounded with photos and evoking Mexican house. Menu is very...long, so many meals, it is difficult to choose. All meals are big portions. I ordered meal Chihuahua, big quantity, less quality - I cannot say it was not tasty, rather spicy, and Krkovička (pork neck) was of course more fatty, but the main problem was in differences when compared to a description in the menu. There was expected potato stuffed with mashed beans, instead there were normal potatoes. Pork steak was supposed to be in a spicy crust, however it was only grilled, no crust. Leek was missing too. When I asked waiter why it is different, maybe they brought wrong meal, the answer was They do it like this. /they means chefs?/ He offered solution to exchange the meal, but as we waited pretty long for this one already, I did not want to wait another hour for a new one, we were so hungry after the trip. We selected this restaurant based on reviews, but for me it was disappointment. Also they do not have very broad offer of deserts, most of them contains bananas. Prices are higher then in other places around. From my point of view - if you are a hungry woodcutter, go and eat here. If you are woman and want to eat nice dinner, do not go :)More
