My partner and I ate dinner here and we absolutely loved it! It was in a great location, close to where we were staying (in the new town). The food was delicious. We both ate the traditional pickled sausage and goulash and everything was amazing...and interesting to try!! The service was so lovely. Our waiter was so kind and friendly and the service was incredibly efficient and hospitable. The beer was really good, and they had a great range of other drinks (spirits etc). The menu was also so reasonable! We will definitely be returning soon!More

Nice typical czech food, worth to try, you can have pizza or pasta anywhere (they have pasta if you realky need it). Very nice waitress, quick service.

Good food and really low price. The owner is very gentle and the nice atmosphere and music made us enjoy a nice dinner far from any kind of touristic places. I suggest it to everybody who wants to have a nice everyday dinner.

A horrible experience! I went there on a cold day with my family who was visiting Prague, we wanted to sit somewhere to warm up, entered this place, asked them what soups they had (we were not very hungry), the manager informed me very rudely...that they had NO SOUPS (a Czech restaurant without any soup in the middle of the day? Must be some fake place..), then I said we would at least have some drinks and he said NO DRINKS, if no food you can't stay. I have lived here for over 8 years and eat out a lot and have NEVER seen anything like this. I was embarassed because I had our guests with me.. Normally we go to Svejk restaurant (Kremencova street) but they were full (I wonder why.. ;-) ) so I decided to give this place a try. A mistake. I shouted at the manager and left. And promised him I would write a review so here I am :-) Oh and I spoke Czech, so he can't even have thought that I was a tourist, which shows that he really couldn't care less. Tourists - BEWARE! If they don't care about locals then how about YOU? :-oMore

Such a great suprise! Amazing food and friendly, attentive service. We ordered pork shank and Svickova. Food was really good and portions even too big. Cheap prices. If you are fan of pork shank you gonna love this place! Nothing to complain about.

Popped in on our first night in Prague. The restaurant was quiet and we got a table within seconds. Service was excellent and staff really friendly. The food, which is reasonably priced, was excellent. The mixed platter as a starter and the goulash with dumplings...is highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back!More

It didn’t start well with the M’D giving us the third degree to check we were going to eat. The furniture is wood and basic but that is ok as we thought it authentic and we thought the menu looked so too. We waited quite...a while for someone to take our order and he did so with the enthusiasm and charm of a dead fish. We ordered beef goulash and bread dumplings. It consisted of six cubes of beef in an ordinary tasting sauce with five pieces of sliced white bread and a few uncooked onion rings. The quickest thing was the way they took our money because they had people waiting for tables. I can’t think why.More
