We had a very pleasant, relaxing lunch at this restaurant following a morning's bustle around the Old Town area in the hot summer sun. The outside area is fairly small and compact, but has lovely views over the weir and across the Vltava river towards the castle. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty and the service was speedy... More

This restaurant was a great experience from all angles. Food was absolutely delicious, the service was, with the exception of one specific waiter, perfect and by sitting on the side of the boat that is away from the shore we have experienced a breath-taking view on Prague castle, river with boats and ducks. All in a golden tan coming from... More

We arrived in Prague and found this floating boat restaurant across from the apartment we rented with friends for our visit. The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere, nicely decorated. The menu is Italian and reasonably priced. I had the shrimp sphagetti with a Czech Pilsner beer, and my wife had sphagetti with buffalo mozzarella and a Mojito. Both meals... More

We had the absolutely perfect lunch here after a lot of walking. The view is wonderful, the service is great and the prices were quite reasonable.

Don't you love a restaurant where the waiters and the chef have pride in their work? When I went here last night I saw only high quality produce, a professional waiter aiming to please and really nice flavours coming out of the kitchen. Add to that a lovely setting for an evening meal!the boat is beutifully decorated in summer. I... More

We did not eat or stay there, but we could not resist walking around and looking at the beautiful handwork on the boat and restaurant and the lovely gardens they've maintained there. It's just below the Dancing Towers building, and a short walk from the farmers market, along the river, past the vendors stalls.

The atmosphere is just gorgeous; both interior and exterior of the wooden, vintage looking boat-turned-restaurant. Staff are OK. Unfortunately very limited English though. We tried almost all the seafood here and the quality was superb. The salmon, halibut, sea bass, shrimp, mussels, clams, calamari, tuna, all fresh and delicious. Definitely will revisit!

This restaurant has the rudest staff I have encountered in a long time. Can't review the food as we left after 10 minutes of being ignored and than treated horribly. With all the nice restaurants in the area and such wonderful people in Prague, I would suggest staying away from this place.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
