Il Palazzo is located in Husova street n. 5, in the vicinity of the Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square, practically in the heart of Prague. We stumbled across this restaurant after struggling to find somewhere which served vegetarian food other than fried cheese or chips. Although we had not booked a table, we were welcomed by a friendly waiter and the service was friendly whilst unintrusive. We were given plenty of time to eat at our leisure. The vegetarian options were good, I had the saffron risotto whilst my meat loving husband feasted on the mixed grill special. Would like to see my choice of desserts. Recommend booking if you wish to sit in the main cellar.

Just eaten here tonight. Researched Trip Advisor for recommendations local to us following a terrible meal last night - review on that one to follow! We weren’t disappointed.
Lovely food and great customer service. Pleasing to see that no tip is automatically assumed or added, which is unusual for Prague.
I’m not tight and I’m happy to leave a decent tip for nice food and good service, but so many places here add it automatically, and as a consequence the service and quality can be dire.
Service here was friendly, not rushed but not slow, and food was tasty and plentiful. We had 4 large beers, 1 bruschetta, 1 lasagne and 1 large mixed grill. Including tip this came to only 950 czk. Fab!
Would definitely return.

This restaurant had great value for money with really good quality food. We enjoyed the charcuterie board for starters. It was very generously sized with yummy options. The pizza was delicious, with authentic thin crust and AMAZING red sauce. Ravioli were perfectly cooked and enjoyable. Good value for money all around- starters, drinks, main meal.

Demotivated staff and Disgusting food - hair in the meal, no taste, plating absolutely horrible, not fresh seafood - frozen, burger had a tiny piece of meat. Wanna be Italian but really not. Pizza looks horrible - haven’t had it because the people at the next table had it and it really did not look tempting. For 4 people we paid 3.6k CZK… also it is in the basement so even getting our grandma into the restaurant was a huge struggle.

Honestly this was one of the worst restourants i have ever visited, they had 2 menus that were different from eachother. Waiteress did not know the menu or the ingridients, took all of our 4 orders wrong. Gnocci I ordered tasted like the ones you buy premade, friend ordered pizza 4 formaggi, there wasnt 4 types of cheese, dough was dry and overdone. I also noticed the same waitress took wrong order from people table next to us and even tried to convince the customer that she did im fact order that.
Over all bad expirience and i would never visit this place again.

Our party of three dined here and, unfortunately, we were left entirely disappointed. The service we received was notably unfriendly and forgetful. On several occasions, we had to reorder drinks that were forgotten. The meals also did not align with our expectations of Italian cuisine. The Spaghetti Carbonara was merely spaghetti with bacon and oil. The pizzas listed on the menu were not actually pizzas, but rather pinsas, which were served cold and lacked flavor. The beer was flat and tasted stale. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

After eating so much Czec delights, we were ready to eat something comforting and different…walking around we found this nice Italian restaurant that did not disappoint! We had the pulpo carpaccio, the fried calamari, and the rosemary focaccia…really good!
We had for drinks red wine and also their lemonade…made to order and really delicious!
Then for entrees we enjoyed a chicken and spinach tagliatelle, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, carbonara pasta…all very very delicious!!!
We regretted not ordering some of their other dishes…also exploring the basement level that has the cave…
Highly recommend this hidden GEM❣️
PS the BEST service by this very well organized lady, who was just one woman show! She handled hostess, waitress, and bartender was very impressive watching her calm & organized demeanor, oh also she did the glasses! There’s a dishwasher at the bar,,,such an amazing professional👏 + she also handled the patio! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was decent. Could have been a bit more flavourful and the toast for the bruschetta less burnt but was tasty.
Major let down was the service which was non existent!
Go elsewhere and pay a bit more for hopefully tastier food with actual service. Women who was present just clearly didn’t want to be there. Face like thunder and was too busy on her phone to actually tend to guests. Just directed me to a table with a point which had clearly not been clean or relayed.
I would have happily of spent more if I actually got the service most places automatically put a service charge on for. Hell no was I paying any service for this meal.
I should have gone elsewhere as plenty of places around.

The service was good and even though there was only one server, she was very quick and efficient. The food however was quite disappointing. I had the carbonara and would expect from an Italian restaurant that it would be somewhat authentic, however, it was more like spaghetti with scrambled eggs, and the bacon was barely cooked.

We came here for a late lunch and the restaurant was empty. The waitress was very unfriendly and unhelpful, appeared annoyed when asked for more drinks. Not once did she smile or ask how our food was. The food however was good. We ordered a side to go with the main but had to wait ages for this, again we asked the waitress who seemed to be annoyed by this.

We were out as usual strolling around looking for somewhere to eat when their special
Beef/ pork and chicken offer caught my eye.
We were led down into a fabulous underground setting.
We wondered at this price would it be small portions, but no big decent portions of delicious food and a very knowledgeable young man attended our table.

We stumbled across this place as it's off the main areas in a small side street, but very glad we did.
The food was fantastic, we shared a pizza between 4 and all loved it, then had pasta and mixed grills for mains. All of the food was really good and extremely well priced compared to most other places.
The staff were very friendly and had a joke with us and we're very attentive.
However indoors was a bit grotty and the toilet was very dirty with no real facilities to speak of, which was a shame as the rest of the experience would have earned this restaurant 5 stars.
I'd definitely go back though

Mediocre food not really Italian, although it is passed off as Italian with high prices for what it offers. The menu does not indicate ingredients that can cause allergies. my daughter ordered a hamburger and, although it wasn't listed on the menu, the hamburger contained mustard, which my daughter is allergic to. Luckily my wife and I noticed this in time and asked to replace it with another one without mustard. We were told that, in any case, we also had to pay for the one containing the mustard which they had already collected, despite having said that it was fine, the second hamburger they brought contained mustard again... so they decided unilaterally to cancel the order. the order, but only communicating it after half an hour, when they brought the bill, leaving the little girl without dinner. Also noteworthy is the very slow service.

Visited this place for lunch, waitress was extremely rude, shouting on the phone, stood round chatting and not serving. One of our mains was completely forgotten about, no apology, she just rang it through to the kitchen. Food was beautiful but shoddy service.

Lady in the restaurant had a lot of work with us moving tables together to accommodate us, organizing food which is not on the menu, replacing table cloth and clrpafter my son. All that was done with the smile! And on top of everything food was delicious. Prices are lower than in other EU capitals.
