We went here as the menu on the web was interesting. Unfortunately it wasn’t the same menu inside. Prosecco at czk100 for a meanly poured 1dl set the tone. Overpriced and at best mediocre quality. Sorry but for the price it has to be better....Place was busy and loud so it’s obviously popular. Mostly ex pats.More

Really great food and service. The place has a old meets new decoration with a nice atmosphere. Can really recommend their burger and some red wine with that.

Lovely place with superb service, but way too expensive. Desserts and drinks are good, the interior is cozy, but it will be probably a one time visit.

Busy restaurant with open kitchen, very nice furnishing and friendly staff. As a group of 9 we reserved the great massive wooden table for dinner and tasted almost all dishes from the menu - and everything was delicious. We really liked the atmosphere, food, wine...and service and definitely recommend this place.More

Went there on a Saturday night while on a short visit to Prague, as we were staying in the neighbourhood and came across this cute restaurant while walking around the day before. We arrive shortly after 9pm and the waiter quickly found us a table....Service was quick and efficient, and the food was definitely tasty! Would go back for dinner again.More

Pleasant bistro off main tourist beat. Enjoyed Czech cuisine, wine at very reasonable prices. Especially liked the duck pate.

My boyfriend and me have been in Nejen Bistro 2 weeks ago. We definitely loved everything in that place! The food was so so good and unusual, we had a perfect dinner! The guys are kind and the service was fast. Thank you :)

Visited this place as saw quite a few reviews and recommendations based on design of the place and trendy location. When we arrived we got a table right away, bit quiet with only 5 tables being occupied and plenty of staff on the floor. We...got the menus, a bit of surprise with quite limited selection of the offer. No problem until the moment one of your guests is vegan. Taken to account the place is based in Karlin (the place to be in Prague according to trends..) I would expect them to be able to accommodate all. Tried to discuss with the waitress who seemed to be utterly uninterested, offering to pay 70% of the price of the meat dish without the meat, no success. Then when being offered a salad, the only ingredients the waitress was able to describe were tomatoes, cucumber.. questioned further we learned about the leaves (unspecified). Eventually we managed to order, for our vegan friend salad and plate of french fries. Burgers we ordered resembled burgers served in the fast food stand at Narodni Trida about a decade ago, with cabbage and falling apart. Another surprise came with french fries served as vegan dish, coming just dry, with no dips being offered. Salad coming just washed by water, forget about olive oil or other form of dressing or seasoning. Asked for dips and oil, when managed to catch the attention of staff, getting a bit of shrugged annoyance. Anyway, finished the lunch and another surprise came with the bill. A small portion of ketchup and mayo (size of table spoon) combined costs more than plate of fries.. well..?!? To sum it up, very nice design, great idea of cucumber being frozen within ice cube for hendrix tonic, but thats pretty much it. Unfortunately this is happening very often, that restaurant opens as a design gem, but the food and service seems to be overlooked almost ignored. Have to say, I was ashamed to be bringing my friends to get such a poor experience. If you’re architecture/ design fan, come in have a coffee and take some pictures; food and service seek elsewhere as Prague has lot more to offer than this.More

My Girlfriend and I were travelling Europe for 7 Months, and made sure to do our research before heading out to eat so it was special every time. Long story short - we came to Nejen bistro twice, we loved it so much! the Menu...is incredible, the prices are unbeatable and the food is absolutely delicious. Wish we were staying in Prague longer so we could come back next week to try the new menu... If I ever come back to Prague, Nejen Bistro will be my first stop. Been there for dinner and felt very welcomed from the point where I opened the door. Friendly staff and really good food. Small but very creative menu.

We loved eating here. The service was outstanding - friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were excellent on both occasions - the duck was the best I have ever had! tender, good grilled flavour and perfectly seasoned. Burgers also great. The menu seems wise - smaller...selection, prepared with quality ingredients and techniques. Would highly recommend.More
