About
Designum Café is a small and cosy café, which is located in the entrance of the Golden Key hotel. The café offers fresh prepared pies, cupcakes and a wide range of cheesecakes. We do not forget the traditional-czech-pie lovers either and we offer strudel, apricot pie, plum pie and much more. You can find at least one gluten-free pastry in our menu each day. We bake all the pies ourselves. The various coffee types are prepared from freshly ground Illy coffee and we are happy to prepare each coffee type also as decaf. For the fans of healthy lifestyle our café offers a daily menu of smoothies, home-made lemonades, a variety of yogurts, fresh juices and many other delicacies. Free WIFI, air-conditioned.

Walked past this cafe on a walking tour to the castle, it looked that nice that we called back after.
We had coffee and cakes and they were all fabulous especially the cheesecake.
Service was great and atmosphere really nice

A beautifull place where you can rest in peace for a few moment during your trip through Praha.
The waitress is so nice and helpful. An high quality service in a peacefull atmosphere. The dessert are very tasty and authentic.
I highly recommend this coffe shop.

As we missed our breakfast, we looked for a place to have breakfast. We had to walk a few metres uphill but it was definitely worth it!
Positives:
+ Cosy interior and nice they used to decorate the place with stuff they sold nextdoor;
+ Great coffee (maple syrup, gingerbread, salted caramel were delicious!)
+ Very friendly staff;
+ Great cakes!
Negatives:
- I wasn't really full after the toast and I miss that the cheese wasn't really melted.

After a long day visiting the Castle we needed a sit down, warm up and re-fuel. We passed this little cafe on the way back to Charles Bridge and although it was empty (usually avoid empty cafes) it looked so cosy we went in. The young lady was really engaging. We had hot choc, coffee and cakes. It was great. Strangly enough when we left, there were at least 3 tables taken !!

We ordered food from Cafe Designum hotel Golden Key for a representative meeting of directors from all over Europe and it was the best choice ever. Nicely packed Quiche, cakes and croissants were really really good. We will definetely come back for the upcoming events. Thank you chef Marcela Benešová and manager Karolina Řikovská for your professional work.

Stopped here a couple of times in the mornings before sightseeing. Flat whites were spot-on and the yoghurt pots were tasty. Cakes looked good too!

Yes I should know somewhere near a castle is going to be bit more expensive so I won’t complain too much, bit brisk customer service but delicious apple strudel made the score a bit higher

Very pleasant small cafe for coffee/tea and cake. It feels like a haven from the street outside, friendly and helpful staff, good cakes and I was pleased to get proper leaf tea in a pot.

On our walk back down from the castle, we stopped at this lovely little cafe. The cakes were delicious; strudel and marble cake. The waitress was really helpful and charming. It was lovely to relax in a quiet and pretty establishment.

It was raining and so we ducked in here. Lovely carrot cake and cappuccino. Nice ambience with ultra lounge type music. The lady serving did an amazing job on her own with a room full of soggy patrons. Would recommend

This cute little cafe is part of the Golden Key hotel and serves some delectable homemade cakes and healthy treats such as chia mango pudding, granola, and best of all there was a delicious gluten free vanilla cake and soy latte!! I was set! This quickly became our morning and afternoon stop off, so much so that we got to know the lovely girls, Ana & Betty, and even bought the “baked with love” cookbook and had our photo on the wall. Highly recommend a visit...especially if you have intolerances as there are very few places in Prague that can accomodate allergies/ intolerances.
