Restaurant located on the 8th floor of an Old medieval tower serving decent quality food well presented but slightly overpriced. Mainly visited by tourists (at least the day we were there)

If youre looking for a good place to eat , zvonice is more of a show for history lovers. I had the beef starter and then the lamb with sweet potatoes , followed by the cheesecake desert. The starter was the best otherwise the lamb...was mid and the cheesecake was subpar. I still enjoyed myself but beware the place is actually a lot smaller than it looks from the pictures. The staff was sweet , but the fish he recommended to my friend was quite dry. The starter came in a dome with smoke which is nice for instagram videos and such but the lighting in the restaurant is generally mid.More

Food was mediocre. My main meal was supposed be with truffles. In my plate was something looking as slices of truffle. No taste at all. I suppose it was some Chinese mushroom looking like truffle. Daylight robbery!

Truly a unique wonderful experience. Atmosphere of this extremely small restaurant sitting around the bell in the belfry (Zvonice) is very cool. Food matched the experience and extremely good. The service was fantastic which all together made for an experience not to be missed

Traveling with a group and we had an excellent lunch here. Our group took up an entire floor. Food and service were super. We had a set meal with a chicken entree. Everything came out in a timely manner. The restaurant is lovely and we...all enjoyed going up to the top floor to see the views.More

I stayed at the Boho hotel. The concierge recommended the Zvonice. The restaurant is one block from the hotel. It is located in one of the 101 historical towers of Prague. The restaurant is not big; it is actually very eclectic and cozy and occupies...the last two floors of the tower. The décor is very nice. There is an old, large bell within the restaurant. The service is impeccable and the servers speak perfect English. They are very professional and provide excellent recommendations on how to combine your dishes. Food is mainly Czech. I had a delicious fish soup followed by a wonderful venison and lovely chocolate dessert. I don't drink alcohol; I was however treated with a delicious, complimentary glass of Champaign! It is better to make reservations in advance. Prices are high however, they are right; the food and service were wonderful! I went to very good restaurants in Prague. The Zvonice was the best one.More

Our first trip to Prague we called Zvonice because it popped up on an online search. Wow! Words cannot adequately express the ambiance of this place. Situated on the 8th floor of the St Henry Bell Tower, built in the 1400’s, Zvonice carried you back...in time. The food was great, so was the service. Portions were adequate, but defiantly not generous. However, the overall experience was a memory for a lifetime.More

My sister, niece and I saved this restaurant for our special meal in Prague a couple of weeks ago and were super impressed. Lukas was the most gracious host and looked after us fabulously. The wines he recommended were just delicious and absolutely nothing was...too much trouble. The food was excellent - we had the goats cheese starter, risotto, venison, steak, chocolate truffles and sorbet. Beautifully presented food and tasted just as good as it looked. We were also offered the opportunity to go right to the top for the views and that was a lovely touch. We had the most enjoyable evening in this restaurant and no idea where the time went as we werer there for a lng time, eating, drinking and chatting. Lukas most definitely made the whole experience a whole lot better. Highly recommend a visit to the restaurant.More

We spent our last night in Prague after an 11-day Viking river cruise experience. My wife and I were looking to celebrate our "milestone birthdays" with a final romantic meal in Prague. Our Viking coordinator recommended Zvonice. We were able to walk to the restaurant....It seemed to cater to American guests because we heard MANY other tables speaking American English. Our server was gracious, but rather quiet. The ambiance is quaint and dark, and our table was private. The food was excellent from the appetizers all the way to dessert. Our server suggested a nice Czech Merlot which complimented the Venison filets (amazing). While the evening was expensive even for US standards, the experience was a fantastic way to end our trip together!More

I made a reservation here to treat my wife on the last evening of our two week tour in Europe. The restaurant is in a Gothic bell tower with the restaurant on the 8th floor. It is small and intimate and perfect for a romantic...dinner. The food, we had duck, was outstanding. Our waiter was courteous and helpful. It allows you to take your time, enjoy your meal and the ambience. Yes, it's a little pricey but honestly no more than a fine dining place in the US. It was well worth it. After dinner, we asked the waiter about the observation deck on the top floor and he had a colleague unlock it for us. Views were fabulous. Overall a perfect evening.More

One of the best meals I have ever had. Took my Mum here today. Service excellent. Food incredible. The sauerkraut soup was so delicious, so too the crayfish soup. For our mains we had the wild boar and the venison with pistachio both were fabulous....I finished with the chocolate truffles. The setting at sunset in the tower was really something special too. A truly memorable meal.More

It was very busy when we dined there in April I so I would recommend making a reservation. There is no dress code and jeans should be ok. It is a great ambiance and the food even better.
