This bistro hat literally one of the best breakfasts i‘ve ever eaten in my whole life! The staff was super friendly and competently. I went here two days in a row before i left Prague and i think the 170 CZK for breakfast and coffee...are 100% worth it!!! I really recommend to go here.More
My husband ordered an oat latte and an orange juice. My son then said ‘an oat latte, please’ , and added another orange juice. When the waitress looked to me, I said ‘and another oat latte, please. We then ordered food. The waitress returned with...one oat latte and two (dairy) lattes. Upon realising that we were expecting three oat lattes, she said, ‘you only said one oat latte’, to which I replied, ‘no, we ordered three’. She took the two unwanted lattes back to the barista, who gave me a glare, and then came back over and cheekily said, ‘next time you should say, because it is the language, and now they have to be thrown away’. When we were leaving, I made sure to pay for the discarded coffees, but certainly did not leave a tip. I consider the waitress’s behaviour quite appalling. If she is unsure about our language (which she did not appear to be), she might consider repeating the order back to the customer to avoid misunderstandings, instead of coming back to the customer to complain to them about a mistake she made. In the months since moving to Prague, this is by far the worst service I have encountered. The food was delicious, which makes the cheeky service all the more disappointing.More

Came here for breakfast, ordered the omelette with cheese and mashed peas, herbs butter - filling, tasty, fresh OJ, flat white. The service was nice, forthcoming, however they didn't have 2 things we asked for - kombucha (from the menu) and coca cola (or any...sparkling drink). Otherwise, all good and will come again! Great choices for a proper breakfast, served anytime. Also fine option for a business lunch. Nice, confortable place, good atmosphere, friendly service.
We went there for breakfast, had pretty good coffee, baguette with "secret chef spread" (quite nice, ham, cream cheese, dill and something extra), and coddled egg with parmesan, which sadly ended up as major dissapointment, it got served with a hair in it :/ After...pointing this out to service it got replaced in under two minutes saying "it's new egg" which is simply impossible (coddled egg takes more than 2 minutes to cook plus egg was not warm anymore), so they just removed the hair and served same cold egg again :/More
My 9 year old son and I visited this lovely bistro every morning for breakfast while in Prague for my son’s half term break. Food is great and fresh. Good size portions. Very tasty fresh coffee. Very attentive and smiley staff. Very reasonable prices. We...would highly recommend Proti Proudu. But keep in mind, it’s best to call and make a reservation to avoid waiting for a table.More
It was close to where we were staying.. loved the service, very kind and smiling! I had a wonderful omelette with americano coffee and my friend an amazing tea with forest fruits which I recommend! Mostly Locals which was great!!!
Came here for breakfast, and what a treat it was. There’s a lovely vibe inside and we were greeted by friendly staff. The food was to die for! I had the huevos rancheros and my partner had the home made granola. It was delicious. This...place is a must if you’re in Prague and love brunching. Make sure you book though as it’s very hard to get a table otherwise!!More
Went there last month and had a good time. Afternoon coffee and great sandwich. This place has a good atmosphere and is perfect for hang out with girlfriends.
Fresh food, great cappuccino and fast and friendly service. We were recommended this by our Airbnb host and were certainly not disappointed.
The bistro feels very artificial, setting itself up as a cool hipsterish place with trendy instagram-ready meals. The staff have no passion whatsoever, do not enjoy serving guests, and push for more orders (we were asked at least three times if we'd like to eat...something...). I have to admit though the coffee was really good. Anyway, I recommend to visit the authentic Muj Salek Kavy instead.More
