I Love Georgian food. U Gruzina was a great find in Prague. At short notice I needed to provide dinner to friends. I recently arrived in Prague (the day before) and looked for Georgian restaurants. U Gruzina had the best reviews. I found the menu...on the website, called, made my order, jumped in a taxi and was there in 8 minutes. Food was ready when they said it would be. Lovely Georgian family who own and and run the restaurant. The atmosphere was very Georgian, and warm hospitality, which Georgia is famous for. The moment I arrived and saw the meat on the hot coals, and the fabulous smells, I knew this was the real thing. I took the food, and Georgian wine, home in the taxi. It was terrific. Every bite was perfect. Loved it all. We had shashlik (grilled meat kabobs), Georgian salad, pkhali (eggplant with Georgian nut sauce, fresh herbs, Georgian flavor/spices (not hot) and pomegranate), Georgian salad, lobio (a bit like refried beans with fresh herbs and walnuts, Georgian spices and pomegranate), grilled vegetables, and three Georgian sauces: adjikha and chinkhali (Georgian specialty, pasta wrapped around ground meat or other fillings with Georgian spices and fresh herbs and sprinkled with pepper. A bit like a very large ball of ravioli with filling. One serving is a lot. And of course...Khadjapuri! I ordered the Mengrelian. If to compare, it is like a large cheese filled pizza, with cheese inside the dough and on the tope. But not too much. Just perfect. Very fresh. Everything was perfect. The Georgian wine is a must. Highly recommended. Will go back!More

Very lovely and friendly staff, family atmosphere and delicious authentic cuisine. It was our first time and we’ll definitely come back. The seating is in tents in a garden and in colder weather you are offered a blanket. Nice experience 😊

Came to this place because of high rating on TripAdvisor and it was disappointment. Very high prices, the place is little bit dirty, mediocre food and they tried to charge us for a higher price with wrong bill (when they see our faces they correct...themselves immediately, but we already had a bad feeling about this). Overall save your money and time - find some nice place to have a meal.More

I've visited this restaurant many times and every time we had amazing food, the atmosphere was chill and laid back. It's good to have a reservation but they won't say no to walk ins like we were today. The chicken was tender and tasted amazing,...the salad was fresh and the dill made it special, the khachapuri was crunchy and cheesy and the chinkali super tasty. The people running it are so friendly! Will return very happily again.More
