I asked our hotel for recommendations and this was one.I felt a little guilty as the Czechs are proud of their beer and we were drinking wine, a Czeck merlot which went down nicely. I went for beef in cream which was delicious but my...wife surprised me by choosing duck which was a big portion. Daughter went for the pork knuckle which while not as big as it looks due to the bone still had plenty meat. So, by the time we were finished we were well and truly filled. We were spoken to in perfect English and the same waiter spoke perfect French to the neighbouring table. Impressive!More

I had been to a few Potrefená Husa across the Czech Republic and actually love food served there. The previous week I had a chance to watch the restaurant workers work at Potrefená Husa (Národní 364/39). Some of them had face masks on their neck,...waiters touched face masks, and then cutlery (In the Czech Republik people are still obliged to wear masks in public places). But the thing that shocked me the most is the behavior of the red-haired bartender. She touched her face (without mask), then the mobile phone, then dirty glasses (which were brought by the waiter a minute earlier) and then the clean glasses (including the upper part, which we touch with our lips when we drink). And then the glasses were filled with drinks and served to the guests. Unfortunately, I didn’t think about recording a video, everything happened quickly enough. However, I hope that my feedback will help management to take appropriate measures to help employees comply with hygiene practices.More

Really had a great meal. An adjacent table had a birthday and pretty much the whole place joined in singing happy birthday! Had the Goulash with dumplings. Really tasty. Didn’t look much but obviously a deep dish and quite a lot of food. Great beer...too. Wife loved her Chicken. Friend loved her Goulash too. As as amazing coincidence we were sitting next to a couple from Norwich. Of all the places. Small world. Will definitely go back when next in Prague. Beautiful restaurant with good service.More

What a great place! Started with Fried Romadur Cheese and the Farmer’s Burger as a main! Food was fantastic washed down with a few Staropramen unfiltered beers! What stands this place out from the rest is the staff! Great bunch! Really attentive and care if...you have enjoyed your food. On a side note the toilets were immaculate! Well done! Left a decent tip!!More

The food here was really nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. We enjoyed our time chatting and eating, which passed effortlessly and finished it off with dessert. My cheesecake was somewhat bland but not too lacking taste, which is the only reason...it was 4/5. I would eat here again if I return to Prague as the cheesecake didn't ruin anything.More

Their roasted duck leg was the best one I've ever had, the meat was tasty, tender and falling off the bone and the red cabbage sauce compliments it perfectly.

As highlighted in other reviews, this place has s cool atmosphere. Service was good and the menu featured a mix of local/regional fare as well as bar food such as burgers and wings. We had duck and beef which were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Potrefena Husa as part of a chain has standard menu in all their establishments, but I still find the food in this particular one the best. The staff is very friendly and professional. Our waitress Eliska was a delight and informed us about all specials,...very polite and attentive. The interior is modern and minimalistic.More

We both had chicken breast which came in a sauce with mixed veg and potatoes with 2 drinks. Cost around £28 Food was really tasty and reasonably priced. This place is huge so i doubt you would struggle to get a table we just turned...up. Would reccommend.More

Our first dinner in Prague. The experience unique. Tasty food well cooked. Big portions. Simple delicious. And of course the local beer. Prices are very normal for Prague standards, however If you compare it with Europe then it is cheap you will pay around 30...euros for two people including the beer.More

We were told that we didn't need a reservation if we went reasonably early. However, whilst we were there some people were turned away. Can your hotel phone up for you ? They have a website too.
