I’ve come to La bodeguita del Medio for many years, but for some reason they keep exceeding my expectation. I’m an international trainer in the service industry, I see many location and work in over 16 countries, not often it happens that I call a...manger to say how well they do! A team that is kind, and it feels they are there an instance before you decide you need them. Soo service driven and kind, I honestly can say that I do not remember the last time I have had service, and this level quality food. So not just letting the manager know, the team know, I just had to share it on Trip Advisor… I hope more and more people will call a manager when they have a great experience.. and to the team, keep it up!!! Cause I can honestly say, you are the ROCKSTARS in our industry!More

Stopped in for lunch, had the beef broth and the spicy bean soups. Both wxwclwnt. The monitor was as good as I have had in Havana. Friendly staff that spoke good English.

Our meal was delicious and the service was excellent. Drinks were prepared really fast. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend great time in centre of town.

This is my favorite place in Prague if you want good drinks. We sat here for almost two hours and had good drinks, while playing cards. Super friendly staff and good service.

We stopped here for a quick drink, a bit stunned to discover they had zero beer on tap, they only serve overpriced small bottles of Heineken, was I in Prague or Amsterdam? So after that disappointment, we settled down with our beers, only to be...greeted with clouds of sickening cannabis smoke coming from a Stag party sitting outside. No one at the pub seemed to be concerned about how drug taking at their premises might affect other customers so we decided to drink up and leave as it was not a pleasant experience. We decided to use the facilities before we went, yet another dismally unpleasant experience. The toilet was full of a previous customers faeces, the floor was soaking wet - not sure what with, the tap was hanging off the sink, no soap or alcohol gel to sanitise and there was no way to dry your hands. Meanwhile staff were just sat about the place when clearly there were jobs that needed doing to keep the place sanitary and clean. We were in Prague for a week and this was by far the worst place we visited during our stay on every level.More

The food was good and sufficient. The Service was ok, but they have hardly laughed. It was a cold feeling.

Fantastic please. Staff great, singers were first class. I took my mum for her birthday. We had a ball ! Music just the right volume for fun and being able to chat. Great vibe. Staff friendly and always there for you without being pushy. Steak...was awesome and I can recommend the Cuban mojita and the gin fizz. We didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s just a few mins walk from the clock and square in the old town. You won’t be disappointe.More

We visited this restaurant for a dinner on Sunday 24.4. Even though we had a reservation managed few days ago and the restaurant was almost empty, the unfriendly man at the entrance offered us just a table in the middle of the doors. We rejected...it and finally, we sat in the corner near the main bar. The interior was stylish and other waiters were helpful. The cocktails are nicely served, tasty, but little bit overpriced. We had two starters and two main courses. The only tasty dish from that was a beef tartar - the rest was simply disaster. Prawns were tasteless, tough with terrible baguette as a side dish. Arroz cubano was just a big portion of red rice mixed with under average seafood with totally carbonized pieces of chicken – the wings were uneatable as well as most of the chicken thighs. If you wish to eat some quesadillas I highly recommend to visit KFC better than La Bodeguita – the price for such a meal is a bad joke. In general, the restaurant has some charm, for drinks at he night might be okay, but the food was definitely very bellow an average of Prague restaurants. Personally, we expected much more from our visit...More
