The atmosphere is Latin / Mexican through "n" through, right in the heart of Old Town Prague. The food was A-/B+, and the margaritas were outstanding. The service / attention to our table could have been better, but we made due, having to hail-down busy...wait staff on a moderately busy evening. All-in-all, definitely recommend, but make reservations.More

Asked for 4 beers. Waited fifteen minutes and they never came. Asked where they where to which the rude waitress replied I will get them when I have time. She did not come back again so we left.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend who's been living in Prague for a few years. He was correct that this place is very good.... I had the wheat flour tacos with shrimps, and it was the most delicious Mexican dish I've had...since the last time I was in Los Angeles. If you like seafood, then I would highly recommend ordering this dish. It's one of their specialties, and it was absolutely amazing. It's hard to find good Mexican food in Europe, generally speaking, but then I'm spoiled by having lived in Southern California for so many years, which probably has better Mexican food than Mexico, due to availability of fresh local ingredients in California. This place has a nice atmosphere, with authentic Mexican music playing. The service was fast, friendly, and fabulous. I asked which of the specials to get, and her recommendation was perfect. I'll definitely come back to this place!More

I have known this place for years and it is always the same: amazing. And I do not mean the fine dining or a posh restaurant like many in this part of Prague. The atmosphere is awesome, I always feel at home there, surrounded by...friendly people, who are like family. Food is delicios, the same as cocktails or czech beer. I do not feel there as a client or guest, I fell there as amigo.More

We stayed at the terrace and it is a quiet calm place close to the city center. Fajitas and burrito are good, and not pricy at all. Good spot if you want to try latin meals

Great Find! Food portions were massive and great value for money. Everything was VERY tasty we had the nachos with chilli & halloumi with vegetables - great flavours and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend!

For years, La Casa Blu has been my favourite Latin American pub in Prague. I appreciate the bohemian atmosphere, and really delicious food. I like to meet my friends there and to celebrate my birthday with my family.

So going on our 3rd week in Europe and we were jonsing for some Hispanic food -we found it! Guacamole was delicious! Our fajitas were a little different but excellently flavored. Chips were really light and crispy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. Cost was...on par w everywhere else we had been too. Service is a little slow and haphazard (appetizer came out post meal) but everyone was nice and we were in no hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. Recommend!More

We stayed in Prague for 4 days and had the pleasure of sampling an evening of entertainment on the Saturday and a fabulous meal on Sunday. The venue is clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. When in Prague this...is a must.More

Our cabin crew gave us a few places we should try whilst in Prague for a long weekend. La Casa Blu was on the list. We wouldn’t have found this place if we were not told about it, it was tucked away down a small,...quiet street. It was a Sunday lunch time when we went and there was only a few tables in there. The menu was great and made it hard to choose what to have. Our party of 6 had a variety of meals; nachos, tacos, fajitas and quesadillas. All of us were very impressed with our meals and felt they were great value for money too! Waiters were attentive and friendly. So glad we got told about this place, would highly recommend it.More

Tucked up a side street we found this by chance. Only drawn in by the “ no smoking restaurant” sign outside. What a find. Absolutely wonderful food. Service with a smile. Decor straight from Mexico. A real find and well worth seeking out in Prague.

At first when I walked into this restaurant, I was a little shocked... It was more like a pub with noisy regulars, not a restaurant I expected but soon I calmed down. We came here for lunch and the food was excellent. I love mexican/spanish...food and this was very tasty and we had a great time with my boyfriend there. Recommend 100%More

I first started going to La Casa Blu in 2004 with my brother with whom I returned in 2005. Since, I’ve been with friends, family & my own son when he came of age. It has a wonderful mixture of Latin American immigrants and local...Czech workers. Over the years, I have made so many friends who worked or frequented here, some of them life changing. There are few tourists. The food and drink is wholesome, hearty & served with a smile. The music, decor and atmosphere is warm and friendly. It’s good value for money and best visited in the late evening. I’ll be back here again soon.More

Our son had been studying in Prague and found this restaurant at the recommendation of U.S. students who had come before. We enjoyed the food, especially nachos, quesadillas and fajitas. [The guacamole was a bit of a disappointment but the rest made up for it;...and I don't understand the fascination with the pickled cheese that is everywhere - I can't recommend here or anywhere else]. There was a nice drink selection and good service. [Our only complaint was that one of the servers took a cigarette break barely outside one of the doors to the restaurant near where we were sitting and the smoke blew inside - didn't last long and an example of the much more prevalent cigarette culture in Prague - get used to it]. If you are looking for something other than traditional Czech food, you won't be disappointed here.More
