Fantastic vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Old Town Prague. A diverse menu with lots of vegan options, and many vegetarian dishes that can be requested vegan. The seitan gyros were very well prepared and the raw vegan cheesecake was the best I've had! Great service and the server was very willing to give recommendations and explain the dishes. The restaurant... More

I have been to this place 5 - 6 times and if you are vegetarian or want to have a veg food for a change, you must go to this restaurant. It is near charles bridge and as I have been to several restaurants in prague, food taste and quality matches with premium restaurants where prices are almost 50% -... More

My daughter recently decided to "go vegetarian". We saw the restaurant advertised on a paper hand out map and I resolved to make sure my daughter go to go irrespective of her selfish elder brothers protestations. Tucked away down a dead end side street one would never stumble across this and yet it was packed at around 5.30. We were... More

Lehka Hlava is simply great, top quality food but with a taste of the best home made things, if you see what I mean. The team is really friendly, kind and multilingual. Their work proves that plant based meals can be delicious and inspiring for everybody. The refined czech spirit turned into food. Don't leave Prague without visiting this amazing... More

I am not a vegetarian, but this is truly one of my favorite places ever!!! The decoration of the restaurant is extremely beautiful and the food is delicious. There used to be quit a bad staff, but since I have been here recently few months ago, it became much better!!! I totally recommend, it's an experience! :)

Came in on a Friday night without a reservation, at first they rejected any customer without reservation but finally they worked out something. So glad they did! Beautiful and somewhat magical place with all the stars on the ceiling. Great selection of all kind of beverages and good food too, had the grilled goat cheese and my partner had cantonese... More

I visited this restaurant with my daughter. We're both vegetarian and I also only eat gluten free. All the dishes were clearly marked for vegan, various allergies and gluten free. The portions were generous and the food simply delicious. Our plates looked as if they had been licked clean when we finished. We'll definitely be returning to this gem before... More

For those who love flourless raw chocolate cake, vegetarian food, and funky decoration, they will find this place wonderful. Food is top notch, the mission seems genuine (love the little quirks like how they give free meals to monks), and the ambiance cozy.

We have enjoyed many times dining in Lehka Hlava and every time we appreciate it more and more than the previous time. They have vegan dishes, too. They are not many compared to the vegetarian ones but a good number to choose from. Last time, we had a lovely Red Thai Curry and Hummus with pita. Everyone from our friends... More

After several heavy meals in Vienna and Prague, we were ready for something a bit different and, shall we say, more healthy! Lehka Hlava had been recommended to us by friends who dined there a year ago and it did not disappoint. The vegetarian thai tofu red curry was superb! Make a reservation and enjoy !

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
