Our Prague guide book mentioned this vegetarian option, and as it was near Piazza Betlemme very close to our hotel, we decided to walk there. There was a queue of people outside the main door and once inside an American lady said she had been there the night before and it was already fully booked!! She decided to leave so when we were able to speak to the staff they confirmed we could a table in about 45 minutes. When we returned things seemed a bit calmer, and we were happy to be in a warm dining room. The tables are small for sharing dishes but we managed. We ordered the signature main course which is for two diners. It had a selection of their main courses, everything we tasted was very good, sometimes spicy but not too much. We drank vegetarian smoothies and they were excellent. The experience was very positive and we can certainly recommend this place. But try to book in advance!

We ate early evening, as the restaurant is only small and was fully booked until 9pm. There are not many vegetarian restaurants in Prague, so we were pleased to find this and that it was worth finding. The food was tasty and filling, a vegetarian version of typical Czech dishes. The hibiscus mulled wine was also a good choice. The room was cosy and decorated with Aboriginal style art.

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurant I have been to. There is a huge array of dishes, the food is tasty and the restaurant has its own particular atmosphere with nice decoration.
I didn’t give 5stars because the glass of sparkling water I received was lukewarm and not very sparkling anymore, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Delicious food in a beautiful location, marred by the worst waiter I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He zoned out twice while taking orders, starters came out before drinks, had to double check starters then double check what three of the mains were after he'd brought the other four. Then finally one of the mains came out after everyone had finished their food. Met with a sarcastic attitude when this meal was sent back. Not sure if he was very hungover or just a total space cadet, but maybe he should try a different line of work.

My premise is that kitchen and services staff works very hard and makes its best to satisfy the clients, I have witnessed it with my own eyes.
However, one hour wait is unacceptable, I am glad that they offered a slice of a delicious cake since they were sorry.
The fact is that I did not like the atmosphere at all: dark, poorly maintained to my eyes, felt very old, vegetarian but at the same time with limited choice to me. You can't really tell what's the interior style. It looks like an underground pub but with kitsch accessories, uncomfortable chairs/tables, bad lighting.
I disliked the appetizers but some courses are not too bad, flavours were strange to me.
After a huge awaiting time we were even asked to leave as they were closing down so we barely ended our meal and then felt the pressure to leave.
If all of this was not enough, it was damn expensive compared to the size of the dishes and other (much better) places in the city centre.
I cannot recommend at all!
I rated it 2 stars instead of just 1 because waiters and kitchen staff were kind.

We went to dinner in this restaurant to change a little bit the kind of foods normally offered in this city.
The quality is high. The test is super. The price is in the standard range for Prag. The environment is nice with a ceiling full of bright stars. Nice.
The negative point is the timing of the service, completely wrong. Always asynchronous. One eat the other look and viceversa. One start plate is also arrived at the end. No sense.
All in all it was a good food experience.

My partner and I have just finished our three day trip to Prague. She is Gluten Free due to an intolerance (not coeliac) and I have no dietary restrictions. We both eat meat but try to limit our consumption somewhat and eat veggie or vegan quite often.
First off, this place looks amazing. The inside of the building itself is well decorated with paintings all over the walls. It has a really nice atmosphere and overall design.
You will find no meat in this restaurant. It is completely veggie, not everything is vegan but vegan dishes (or dishes with an option to be vegan) are signposted clearly in the menu. The same goes for Gluten Free dishes. I had a “Czech Special Seitan Roast” which from my understanding is basically a vegetarian version of the traditional Czech roast dinner. It was a bit different from what I’m used to but delicious all the same. If you like red cabbage, gravy and dumplings (although they’re nothing like British dumplings) then this will be good for you. The “Seitan” was a wheat-based meat substitute.
My partner had a Tofu Thai Green Curry (gluten free as standard) and said she really enjoyed it too. We both had the Chia pudding for dessert which was vegan. Also delicious and we both thoroughly recommend this one if you’re a fan of yoghurt and granola. They somehow managed to make a dessert that replicated chocolate, yoghurt and granola together but it was completely vegan and gluten free 👍.
Service was standard for Prague, nice and helpful staff who helped as much as they can. Think the only thing that restricted them was a little bit of a language barrier but that is our fault not theirs! Thoroughly recommend this place 👍.

Interior decor is lovely, service not so much. We ordered mains and our server forgot to put my dish through so it came a little delayed. That would've been fine but when I had a bite of it, it was tasteless and they took it back without offering a replacement. I asked if I could get a refund and said no which I understand, so my advice is: make sure you're choosing the right dish!

We di£not have a reservation but they squeezed us in. We only had a main meal as the starter didn’t materialise and we were never offered the dessert menu. Our waitress did seem away with the fairies. The food was great and we would go back I had the spinach stack which was soooo much better than anticipated. We had eaten at the sister restaurant a couple of days before but thought the food at clear head was better. It’s like the younger less hippy more hipster arm.

Recommend +++. We went twice on our short visit to Prague. We loved the food. The decor is gorgeous - the blue twinkling ceiling is very special. The staff also lovely. Even if you are not vegetarian - my husband is not vegetarian and loved his meal - I think you will enjoy Lehka Hlava.

As there were only the two of us they managed to squeeze us in for lunch. 100% veggie and 100% great for food. Lovely, unusual restaurant off the main drag. We stuck with the set menu - tasty soup and then veg with cheese and potatoes. Don’t be put off by the simplicity, it was simply delicious (even my carnivore husband is planning to do his own version at home. There is something about Czech potatoes though!
Book if there is more than two of you or you want certainty as this place is very popular - and deserves to be, with its honest wholesome food and very decent prices.

Meets expectations. Big clear head is to die for. They make hand made sauces which are really delicious. The soup with vegetables is delicious with the cocunutty flavour. They add a bit of spice to the food.

The interior looks amazing and the food is great. Great vegetarian variations on Czech dishes and French or Mexican cuisine. The oat-raspberry crumble with cream was very tasty (not crispy or warm though so 4.5* rounded up because we would highly recommend this restaurant).

The staff is very friendly and dedicated to create a special memory by paying attention to our needs. The food tastes great and suggestions were made to share the appetizer instead of just selling more food. All in all our expectations were met and exceeded! Great customer experience.

We ate at Maitrea (sister restaurant) our first night in Prague and immediately booked Lehka Hlava for our 2nd night. While the menus have a lot of overlapping items, there are enough different items to visit both restaurants and try completely different options. Personally Maitrea felt a bit more comfortable in terms of vibe/setting but the food and service were equally good in both. Nice to have great vegan/vegetarian options in a city where meat is King. Make reservations ahead of time --- plenty of people were turned away.

One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city.
