Highly recommended for coffee and cake at this modern coffee shop that offers a wide array of European cuisine to buy and taste.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, you just can't go wrong.
The only downer is when the manager is working at the premises, as his music taste isn't the most inspiring!!!

Lunchtime visit. Food clearly labelled with pictures and allergy guides. In English as well. Vegetarian options no problem. Gluten free bread, biscuits and soups plus other meals. Food shop attached with beer house below. Not expensive. Good service. Nice food.

Really liked stopping here -- twice -- on my Prague trip. The first time was to have one of the beers downstairs, the menu of which, though I'm no aficionado myself, should really arouse a beer-lover. Didn't eat there, but the offerings seemed typically Czech. My next stop was to grab a bite upstairs and have a glass of wine. The veggie couscous was perfectly fine and the wine was very good, but it was the atmosphere that I enjoyed. It's a store-restaurant combo and a low-stress way to have something other than meat for a meal in Prague (though they have meat, too).

After a difficult day I wanted to grab a hot meal, so I wanted to try Food Story which has a huge amount of variety under one roof and a dining room downstairs, well the hostess had all the warmth of a dead fish. The waiter promptly took my order and brought me fresh ginger tea. So far so good, but no food was brought to me, and I was the only person in the dining room, after waiting a considerable amount of time I asked the waiter how long before the food will arrive 3 minutes he replies, another 10 minutes go by and no sign of my ribs with mashed potatoes, ok so I tell the waiter I will pay for the tea and eat elsewhere. Really no excuse for making a patron wait for a meal that is precooked and which only needs heating up. Especially when there are no other customers, much room for improvement at Food Story, no happy ending with this visit, but maybe you will have better luck.

This place was a godsend. It's like an affordable and more exciting version of Whole Foods (for those visting from the U.S. or Canada). They make customers salads, burgers, etc and have a juice bar, but also have the groceries etc. All around awesome.

Fantastic location, great environment but extremely SLOW morning service for coffee and cousant, having just dropped the children off to school. Looking for service that allows for a coffee on the way to work sitting inside the building and a read of the newspaper. However, at this moment in time, they are not geared up if more than 2 people are in the queue, which is a great pity!!!!
