I first visited this restaurant while studying high school in Prague some 15 years ago. Now I visited the place again and I can say it's still one of the best restaurants in Prague for vegetarians. It's all-you-can-eat for around 100 CZK, so it's an...incredible value. You'll get main course consisting of usually sabji with rice, some salad, soup, desert etc. Tasty, filling, guilt free. Love it. The restaurant is very quiet so it's a good place to relax or read a book or have a quiet conversation, but definitely not to celebrate or anything like that. They also have sit-on-the-floor area where you need to climb staircase - you can just have a nap after your lunch. I'll definitely keep coming over my next visits to Prague.More

The food was good (most of it). We had the buffet. But, the ambience is too dull for hanging out with friends. Religious affiliations aside, their choice of music is terrible. I was there with a non-Indian friend and the moment I mentioned "Gita", 2...people came near us immedietly, in apparent excitement. I know, they are "Harekrishna" folks...but still, that intrusion was creepy for me.More

In my opinion this is the best choice in Prague if you want vegetarian or just fresh food. Very good taste, great service and unique atmosphere. Been there several times now, first visit sometimes around 1999, never dissapointed and their halva on fridays is excellent....I wish they had some halva on other days too, especially the caramel one. I was amazed by great positive attitude and really fasboulous vegetarian food prepared by Hare Krisna guys. Definitely worth going there.
