We had an early evening meal as we were heading for the airport:) the prawn dish on the Seaonal menu was so flavoursome - absolutely delicious, only wished it had been served with pasta, as ciabatta was not quite enough to make it a complete meal.
Staff far friendlier than most we had met in Prague and lovely to be welcomed by the chef.
I wish our waitress had recommended the tiramisu and encouraged us to stay longer, as we actually left after the main course to walk to a well known cafe for cake and coffee which was very disappointing with poor service.
Service and food extremely good.

I wisited reastaurant with my family in the end of June. We tried two differnet antipasti, vitello tonnato and pomodoro bruschette. The veal meat from vitello tonnato was perfectly tender and very nice flauvored and also tuna salsa was great. Pomodoro Bruschette are made from homebaked ciabatta bread, also very tasty. Then we continued with pizza napoletana and I have to say, it was soo goood, crispy and bubbles edges with the contrast from pomodoro and mozzarella in the middle. Waiters are very kind and funny anyway are profesionals :) Prices for food and drinks are reasonable. Highly recommended :) I’m looking forward to visit this italian restaurant again.

We eat here at least once every time we’re in Prague. Meals here do not disappoint; they’re of good quality, well presented and served and cheap.
I’d recommend eating here to anyone and we’ll be back next Christmas.

I made an online reservation for my husband's birthday dinner with a note asking it would be great if they could serve my husband's dessert with a little candle. They did not forget that and brought our table a cute little cake with a candle. That was really kind of them😊 Also, the food and wine was great. I would definetely recommend this restaurant for everyone!

Visited this hidden little gem a few days before we had to leave due to what's currently happening in the world and we already can't wait to get back!
We were welcomed by a very friendly staff that seemed to be sincerely happy to have us there. Regarding food... it was something out of this world! First we ordered Spaghetti Frutti di Mare and Pizza Parma, however, after trying both of the dishes we couldn't help it and order some more as well as a bottle of wine by the recommendation of the staff. We ended up spending the whole evening there and for a while we really felt like we're in Italy... (the Italian radio also helps haha). Strongly recommend and genuinely looking forward to visit this place again!!!

You can easily taste that the restaurant only uses extremely high quality and authentic ingredients in all of its dishes, and while still having delicious pasta’s and desserts, their pizza is the beyond delicious. The quattro formaggi without a doubt the most flavorful, and rich pizza you will arguably ever have. To top it off, the staff are kind and attentive to your needs with vast selection of quality wines to compliment what ever delicious dish you order. All this while staying in extremely affordable price range! Highly recommend.

We visited here on a Saturday night having reserved advanced, we were greeted by a waitress who seemed annoyed at our very presence in the restaurant. She took our order and rolled her eyes dramatically when we asked if there were chips ( I know it’s not the most cultured choice but sometimes you just want some salty potato).
We ordered some starters, a Burrata and some Italian meats all very nice. When our mains arrived we asked if we could have some mayonnaise and ketchup for our chips to which she replied “no we don’t, this is an Italian restaurant”, before rolling her eyes again and sighing dramatically. The mains themselves were okay my pizza was quite soggy but my friend who had the risotto said it was delicious.
The waitress continued to act as if we getting on her nerves until we left the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this place, better places in Prague such as the gluten-free restaurant (Alriso) which actually had better bread than this so-called Italian restaurant.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and sorry for our "drama queen" waitress. Frankly saying we do not know Italian restaurant where you can find potato cheeps or ketchup, it is almost impossible!
Our colleague should propose to you baked homemade potatoes and sauce from fresh tomatoes instead of "fast food" choices.
We also think that guests will choose by themselves place with a "better bread" and here is not the best place for recommending competitors which has similar number of reviews but are quite far away from us on a total rating.
We appreciate your helpful and constructive criticism, which will help our service become better in the future and we hope you return soon. ♥️

As a pizza-lover, I must say that this is the most authentic Italian pizza in Prague, and even if you don’t care about authenticity, this is still I must-try for every person who appreciates and enjoys good pizza.
The service deserves 5 stars as well, they very helpful, friendly, and go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. Totally recommend!

I seldom write reviews and especially negative ones, but last night was physically painful to endure. We made a reservation at 8 pm and arrived at 7:52. We were seated promptly at 8 pm and our drink and food orders were taken within 15 minutes of being seated. The drinks were brought promptly, but then NO FOOD was brought for over an hour, not even bread, Our travel day had started at 4:30 a.m. and we were growing increasingly, painfully hungry. They kept assuring us we would be served shortly. It took over an hour just for our starters to be served, but not everyone had starters so some were left with nothing to eat until our main course finally came at 9:54 pm, almost a full two hours after being seated. The server explained that the pizza oven had to get very hot and that was the reason for the delay in being served, but sadly both of the pizzas we ordered had soggy crust in the middle. The other food was good, especially the pasta, but an almost two-hour wait was both painful to endure and unjustified, especially for soggy pizza. I can only conclude that the restaurant has expanded beyond what it can responsibly manage and they should either expand their kitchen's capacity or reduce the number of patrons they serve. The wait staff was great. The issue appeared to be in the kitchen/management.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. Your experience is one which we are not proud and, as you may see from other reviews quite atypical.
Our waitress thought that you were sharing plate with cheeses and Italian meats and did not recognise that part of your group waited for too long. Regarding pizza oven it was misunderstanding - we could make pizzas or ciabattas for your table sooner...
We have already counseled the staff regarding being more attentive...
We hope that you will give us another chance and revisit us - so we can make amends in some way for your disappointment.

The minute you step into the restaurant, you feel warm & welcome. The atmosphere is chilled sophistication & the staff are very friendly & insightful. The menu has plenty of choice & the food is delicious. We had seafood & chicken, with desserts & we left nicely full & extremely happy- think we were food drunk!
I’ve eaten in thousands of establishments all around the world, but the way the chicken was cooked was beyond anything I’ve ever tasted before. On top of this, the price was very very reasonable- there were 2 of us & we had 3 courses each, plus 5 large glasses of good quality vino & we only paid 2,235CZK / £82 (in Bristol where we live, the same quality food & venue, charge us at least 4,088CZK / £150). We will not hesitate to visit again, the next time we’re in Prague; everyone should go to this restaurant if you like great food & service (make sure you book in advance- it’s very popular & people were queuing 10 deep waiting for a table). Were here for the weekend, never been to Prague before. This restaurant has great reviews and I'm sure rightly so, if you speak Italian or are a seasoned Italian restaurant visitor, perhaps.
Here's what we found. We arrived on time and were escorted through the restaurant to the back. The menu is quite limited, mainly seafood. If you're looking for garlic bread, spaghetti bolognese or lasagne you won't find them in the menu here.
Anyway - we all picked something to eat. By now we've been seated for 10 minutes and not approached for a drinks order. At this point the waiter informs us that they have no pizza, which makes up around 70% of the already bespoke menu.
So that's it, we left and didn't get to sample what I'm sure would have been quality food

We are so sorry to hear you had a sad experience at GamberoRosso. Your experience is one which we are not proud and, as you may see from other reviews quite atypical.
You experienced some slower service due to the higher number of guests and we are currently training new staff members.
During the last weekend we unfortunately had an outage with the delivery of flour from the Italian supplier, so we ran out of pizzas on Sunday evening. Our waiters should inform all guests right by the door about it before late dinner. Today we are fully prepared again, we are really sorry for that - our pizzas are very popular and supplier made a mistake with a count of sacks of flour for us.
We have also counseled the staff regarding being more informative and attentive towards our guests.
We hope that you will revisit so we can make amends in some way for your disappointment. ♥️

On our last evening in Prague, after 18 days in Europe, we decided we’d had enough schnitzel, sausages, goulash, potatoes and dumplings to last us for a long time, so I located this Italian restaurant in OpenTable, made a reservation and we walked across the Charles Bridge and through the crowded Old Town square to get there. It’s well worth it to get just a block or two away from the square to avoid the crowds and the mediocre, overpriced restaurants. Though it’s just a few blocks away the square the area was much quieter and less crowded. We were seated promptly, but then waited about 15 minutes for a waiter to approach us. One waiter that we flagged down said his colleague would handle us, but then after another 5 minutes when the colleague didn’t show up, he took our order. They seem to be suffering a staff shortage, and the restaurant wasn’t actually full. We ordered the veal and black cuttlefish risotto and 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio. Fortunately after waiting so long to place our order, the kitchen delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and we were satisfied that I’d chosen this restaurant.

Definitely one of top three italian restaurant we have been at (and we have been in many!) with excellent pizza napoletana, pasta and salads as well as appertizers and deserts (panna cotta is to die for). Everyone who knows that quality is more than quantity will recognize that only the best and very tasty ingedients are used, everthing is fresly prepared, very aesthetically put on the plate and served with attention and very good timing.
Ambient is cozy and lively, especially if you manage to get a table next to the window with look on the pizza oven and bar. Staff is very attentive, helpful and communicative - overall perfect experince!
This was our favourite restaurant in Prague, although we found it accidentally first day late in the evening when we were looking for something to eat close to the hotel we were staying at but afterwards we came back six times alltogether during our 10 day stay.
Special thanks to the whole team once again for making our staying in Prague even better with such a good food. We would give you 10 points if possible.

I don't usually write a report on tripasvisor but this restaurant fully deservers it. We were here with 4 persons and we all agree that this is by far the best Italian we ever ate. The pizza was great, the pasta was the best pasta we ever tasted and the service was so friendly and good for us. 5 stars are, in our opinion, the only rating we can give. Keep up the good work!

First time visiting GamberoRosso and couldn’t be more happy. The pizza was excellent and the service amazing! We ordered a Pizza Diavola and a Pizza Bufalina to share between the two of us and were very happy with both. The Pizza Diavola had just the right amount of spice with very tasty and flavourful salami while the Pizza Bufalina was fresh with juicy and sweet cherry tomatoes. Absolutely recommend this place for proper and authentic Neapolitan pizza in Prague.
