Great first meal in Prague

Great little Italian, service was on point and the food was excellent, real depth to the dishes. Wine was top notchc but it should be as it was a Brunello!

SUPERB ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN PRAGUE

Gambero Rosso, one of the finest Italian restaurants anywhere, is conveniently located just off Prague's Old Town Square. We're Italian food lovers who live in New York City, home to a great many of America's best Italian restaurants. We also travel to Italy frequently and...have visited almost every region and love the food. We just returned from ten days in Prague where we had three fantastic dinners at Gambero Rosso. It's a terrific place. Every dish was delicious, subtly flavored, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The wine list was first-rate. The staff is friendly, charming, and helpful, and by our second visit, we were treated like regulars. Given the exceptional quality of Gambero Rosso, one would expect it to be an expensive restaurant. It isn't. The cost of a three-course dinner with a bottle of fine wine was no more than an ordinary meal in Italian restaurants all over America. We urge you to seek out this great restaurant with its cozy atmosphere and attractive appearance and have an utterly delicious break from Czech food.More

A must try Italian experience in Prague!

The employees were very nice and patient, the food was wonderful (we ate pizza and spaghetti), as well for the location, which is very cosy and clean. I recommend!

Wonderful Meal!

We had a fantastic meal. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We booked in advance on a Thursday evening and we were glad we did as it was very busy. Food was incredible all cooked perfectly, kids had pizza and we had pasta it was all...absolutely delicious! Try and save a bit of room for dessert you won’t be disappointed! Thank you!More

Evening dinner

Brilliant host, food was delicious. Didn’t have to book which was great for such a busy restaurant. Was a small wait for a seat but the food and service was worth it. Not too expensive given it’s prime location just off of the main old...town of PragueMore

Italian night

Fantastic place, went here on reading reviews and wasn’t disappointed, Staff friendly gave good advice on food choice. Food second to none, great little place a must to visit when in Prague. Would definitely go again.

Best pizza ever

When passing my eye caught a customer at the window seat with a stunning looking pizza. That night we booked a table online and tried it for ourselves. The 2 pizzas we had were proper Italian pizzas like the ones straight from Napoli. The flavours...were unbeatable and the toppings plentiful. My partner couldn't finish hers it was so well topped. The staff were attentive and the ambiance spot on. Just found it strange having numerous people with dogs sitting around us. Would definitely go back if ever in Prague again.More

A journey through the taste of italy

We had the pleasure of dining at GamberoRosso for a family dinner. We started with an exquisite Italian charcuterie platter, and it was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The selection of cheeses was a true delight, with each cheese had its unique personality, complementing...the others perfectly. Prosciutto di Parmi and Salami was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The olives, a mix of green and black, marinated to perfection, offered a delightful contrast to the richness of the meats and cheeses. Then we had several Traditional Italian pizzas with thin, perfectly charred crust and a judicious selection of top-quality ingredients. We also enjoyed extraordinary Italian pasta and fish soup, and it was nothing short of amazings The soup was infused with the essence of the sea, with a combination of tender white fish, succulent shrimp, prawns, and mussels, all cooked to perfection, added a medley of textures and flavors that spoke of freshness and expertise. Dear Team, In response to your questions regarding my poor review of your restaurant. I visited on 14th February 2017 at around 7pm. The pizza I ordered was soggy and wet everywhere apart form the outer edges. I have never been served anything like that before and was quite shocked. I did not order another pizza because I did not want to eat in a restaurant that was prepared to serve me something so unappetising in the first place. I also didn't feel that the waiter was at all apologetic, I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

About tap water ok you are right but here in Greece never charge for tap water filtered or not.About rude waiter are one girl blond with glasses and a man at 5Jan night at 21-22 hour when visit the restaurant.Your food is very very nice and tasty.We have order one garbonara and one.other pasta with salmon .Also french fries which are very small portion but tasty ,too.For drinks one dark beer and one coca cola and the tap water(no one inform us that is one time pay).We will come again in our next visit in prague.
