My wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch. Ambience - We went for a late lunch so relatively quiet but the staff were welcoming. Service - Our servers were attentive, polite but not over intrusive Food - We went with the lunch menu...due to lack of time as the two tasting menus need a minimum of 2 hours. The starters had a good combination of flavours and we found were better than our main courses.More

It's hard to know where to start! Field is a magical blend of fantastic restaurant, creative art gallery, and performance venue, all in the arena of food. Each course had an entirely different set of dinnerware from pottery to glass to crystal to wood to...stone in beautiful shapes and configurations, often with art embedded inside. The food presentations were straight out of a modern art gallery. The attention of the servers was impeccable and timely. The pacing of our 10-course meal was superb and allowed us to be able to handle all that (including the wine pairing and still walk home!). Klara, our server, in particular was warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and just superb at every turn. The most unique and exceptional dinner we have ever had (including some 5-star places). You will never forget this meal.More

Fantastic tasting menu!! Highly recommend! Service was competent but not warm. The food was at a high caliber and quality. There was definitely thoughtfulness to the food and the techniques were there. The composition demonstrated attention to contrasting and complimentary tastes and textures.

The Field restaurant stand our expectation and even over top them. The appetizer is so good. From start to end all the dished was tasty (only the goat chese is to havy for dessert), the details and the Professional treatment was amazing. We eat the...lunch 3 course meal, like oxtail and duck that were perfect!!! Best value for money best michelin star experienceMore

First things first: every single dish was a perfectly balanced symphony of subtle flavours, none of them at odds with another despite the sometimes daring combinations. Every single dish had a beautiful olfactive identity too. Each instrument in each dish melted into the next in...butter-smooth unison. Fine, very fine dining this is. Where my 'but' comes in is where my taste in classical music does: some symphonic movements, however masterly and perfectly played by world class musicians, can yet feel a bit flat. They leave me nonplussed with nothing really sticking in the mind after a minute or two. This, for me, applied to the first 2, maybe 2.5 dishes of my short degustation menu. But then Shostakovich in all his glory turned up: the lamb was just the exquisite pedestal onto which the incredible sauce and the palate-exploding side blew me away. Add to this the fact that the Saint-Estèphe was so, so well-chosen for this: a sublime, stupendous combination. The apotheosis actually extended to the dessert, where again the wine pairing elevated the beautiful creation no end. In fact, the wine pairing (B in my case) was a highlight throughout. Wonderfully interesting wines, all of them, polar opposites all yet imbued with subtle connections and always delightful by themselves, making you rediscover wine as it should be. Can't wait to try the upper-echelon pairing. The courtesy sweets at the end had a lovely word to say to finish the dinner off with a flourish. There are two schools of thought on classical music. One says the lenti movements are there to lead, crescendo, to the climax. In this line of thinking, the meal was a model of architecture. The other school, to which I personally subscribe, would rather be given a climax at every single mouthful. So in this sense Field did not deliver to the fullest. Still, it was sublime and I can't recommend it enough or wait to return. Oh, yes, where the side was let down in my view is the espresso, which lacked texture and depth (but it was a decaf).More

Our dinner in Field was really unforgettable. A ten course degustation menu with a great wine pairing and a non-alcoholic pairing. The sommelier did an excellent job with both wines and non alcoholic juices. Every juice was home made! I can recommand it. All the...dishes were a wonderful tasting, suberb flavours, original and surprisingly great combinations. This dinner is one of the best we ever had and we will never forget this. If you have the chance to go here, please do and take at least 3 hours for this amazing night of fine dining.More

Great food and service. We went for lunch on a Sunday and had the 5 course tasting menu. My wife is pregnant and the chef catered for her dietary restrictions. The food was unbelievably tasty.

All very good and professional except of a rather unattentive waiter. European price level i.e. mostly foreign and young customers. Daily 3-course menu to be recommended

A wonderful meal, with excellent service. The waitress was friendly and spoke in detail about all the dishes. They can work a little fast bringing new dishes, but will slow down if you ask. The food was full of flavour and the 3 course meal...was enough to fill me up. The weekday lunchtime menu is incredibly affordable for a Michelin star restaurant. I paid £40 for a three course meal, a water and 2 glasses of wine.More

Please ignore the few negative reviews on here. This place is absolutely outstanding. My husband has dined at many Michelin Starred restaurants (and I have at quite a few too) and he rated this as among the very best. It was definitely better than the...three star ones I have been to (Gordon Ramsay and Le Gavroche) and on a par with two star ones such as the Ledbury. Why Field has only one star is beyond me. We had the short (five courses plus three amouses bouches so not that short!) with the cheaper wine pairing. I don’t understand comments about the wine being poured with a measure away from the table (maybe for the Coravin wine?) The sommelier explained the wine and poured it straight into the glass. After five (small) glasses plus a glass of champagne to start I definitely didn’t feel short-changed - any more and I wouldn’t have been able to walk back. The wine selections were all great and paired with the food brilliantly. The food itself was incredible. Just flavour explosions. I was dreaming about it all night long. It’s such a treat to have such wonderful vegetarian food. My husband is a meat-eater but this food was almost enough to convert him! The service was exceptional too with just the right amount of wait between courses. The staff were super-friendly without being annoying and all spoke perfect English. We had three days in Prague and this was definitely the highlight of our trip - we both agreed on that. To be honest I’d even say it’s worth going to Prague just to go to this restaurant. I just hope they open a branch in London!More

We had The stort menu, two hours serving. Super delicious, with many small surprices. Definatetly Michelin Level. The waiters were super Nice and professional. The mail dish was a little dissapointing - pork is hard to transform into gourmet. The room design was simple and...slightly boring.More

Everything is extremely well presented, and tastes just as good as it looks. The service is great, and they are eager to answer all your questions. The chefs clearly enjoy to experiment with food flavor and consistency, and are excellent at it.

The launch started with "amuse-bouche" , than a starter, main course and desert all courses were pleasing to the eye and included unique tastes. Each one was an experience of it's own. I have only praise for the quality of food and service. waiters were...quick to respond, when my fork fell they came quickly to replace it without any signal from my sideMore

This is the best restaurant in Prague, hands down. So no spoilers - the food is worth it. The taste, the serving, the execution is brilliant. Everything was delicious with original and excellent presentation. But for me the highlight of the place was the service....Field has the most professional staff I have ever seen in the Czech Republic and the place runs like clockwork. Whoever runs the place should teach teamwork and organization skills as a side job. It was amazing to watch and I would love to talk to the people who have created this place. I want to come back soon for more.More
