Booked an evening at Field for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and it did not disappoint us. We had the 6-course meal with winepairing. Everything was so good, and uniqe - and the wine was great as well. The waitors told us all about the food,...and finished some of the dished at the table. Would definitley recommend Field for a special experience.More

Hugely enjoyed our visit here for dinner; we had the full 10 course menu, I had the wine pairing and my wife had the non-alcoholic pairing. Food was exceptional throughout, actually better than I’d been expecting. The service was faultless too; our main waiter was...great and dealt very well with a very loud and difficult gentleman (this guy had a number of confusing dietary requests, then loudly declared he didn’t like mushroom or rabbit, then asked the waiters to pose for pictures when serving, then asked for a different waiter to come and speak to him when he wasn’t happy with a response etc etc, an absolute nightmare) on the table behind us admirably during our meal. Having been visiting and eating in Czech regularly since 2007 I can say the meal was very expensive by Czech standards and cost more than most (but definitely not all) 1* menus I’ve eaten in the UK - it’s a lot more expensive than La Degustation round the corner for example where we’ve eaten (and enjoyed) great meals multiple times in the past. But the restaurant was pretty full on a Thursday evening so I can’t begrudge them charging as much as they can. There’s no automatically included service charge but there’s the option to leave a tip on the card machine (which we did). Overall, the food was top rate and the service was impeccable; this is a top class restaurant by any standard.More

We went for the 10 course menu, and as the title of this review says, I simply cannot fault it. In most cases, one or, if unlucky, 2 courses on a tasting menu don’t work in my humble opinion. At field, they were all magical,...some I preferred more than others but none I thought I could have gone without. The service was friendly, professional with the right amount of theatre. I can’t wait to return.More

We had a wonderful evening (we chose the shorter 6 course tasting menu and decided to choose our own wine and not go with the recommended pairings) - every single thing was thoroughly thought out, presented amazingly and the staff were just excellent... from the...arrival hand wash cloth, to the discrete but incredibly beautiful decor (the light reflections on the ceiling were such a lovely touch), the relaxed atmosphere, the presentation of food, the sometimes surprising pairing of food that worked so well, the 3 surprise amuse bouche, the flavours, the textures, and the wine list! We loved every single thing. Of special note - the sommelier Sylvia was so helpful and knowledgeable - don't be afraid to ask for her guidance. I would highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you are in Prague!! It's not to be missed. Thank you Field for such a wonderful evening.....More

We dined here to celebrate my partners birthday. The food was nice, but not spectacular, whilst everything was tasty it wasn’t quite up to expectations- at times it felt as though the presentation took priority. The staff were very informative and the service was excellent.

Great place, great staff, great food good wine! Very hard to say any more! Would I return, in a flash. Had the 5 course "small Degustation"left stuffed- a great lunch. Didn't do the wine flight but did do the local Pinot Noir an excellent recommendation...from the sommelier.More

Outstanding service from booking through after dinner. Attentive, discreet, adequate. The food was a tribute to the fields of Czech Republic, aiming at elevating simple and local ingredients to a gustative explosion of tastes. The foie gras would have deserved some armistice. My highlight was...the oxtail. Almost perfectly executed artisanal cooking, with a high mastery of technique demonstrated. Game on between demonstration and subtlety. And the winner is…? All in all bravo!More

We really enjoyed our lunch here and thought that each dish was full of flavour and executed perfectly. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a very nice rustic feel whilst still looking very modern. Portions were great and we left stuffed, not to...mention that it was great value for money!More

We had the 10 course dinner with wine pairing. The service was fantastic from arrival to the coffee. Each course was creative and thoughtful. We've had a couple of Michelin star tasting menus that left us disappointed, but Field was very nice.

We have chosen the “Short degustation menu” - a six course adventure! The food was cooked flawlessly and the flavors were combined exceptionally well. As a person who always combines the food with wine, the “Non-alcoholic drinks” pairing appeared to be a surprisingly good combination!...The service is very attentive. Food was presented in a professional manner and served simultaneously.More

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. When a restaurant isn't sure if it's lost it's star or kept it, the restaurant doesn't know how to act (as a Michelin or regular restaurant). Here, the service and food were both subpar. After...telling the waiter my food allergies and preferences I was handed the vegetarian menu and ordered my meal off of it, yet to my surprise was given a duck dish as the first course. After rejecting same, both the manager and server blamed me for the confusion. While the rest of the menu that came was vegetarian, the food was either too salty or overcooked to eat, resulting in me sending the food back. After doing so, the restaurant did not apologize or ask additional questions. The servers seem very confused on the service they were offering, while the pricing is overpriced for the non-edible food, they did not bother to fold our napkins when we left the table nor clean the table in between courses. Overall, I've had better service at a hawker center, and better food at most restaurants in Prague. Unless you want to fall into the tourist trap of paying for a Michelin restaurant that seems to have lost its star and quality food (and to note, the guests all were foreigners), I'd spend your money and time elsewhere.More
