Great and friendly service. Burgers are really good. Sides are more expensive & above all, disappointing. Curly fries came right out of a freezer pack and in a very small portion; truffle mac & cheese was really just some pasta (not macaroni!) with out-of-a-package cheese...sauce.More
Stopped into Bad Jeff's for lunch yesterday. Amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich---pork was very tender, tasty, and perfectly seasoned. We had french fries and coleslaw as sides and both were outstanding. The coleslaw is out of this world. Amazing. The BBQ sauce is...outstanding as well. Nice little kick to it. The service was outstanding. Coming from Texas to Prague, really glad we came across Bad Jeff's.More
First of all I doubt that all the comments which gives 5 points are real,
Maybe they have a bunch of friends to help the score.
The welcome into this resto/fast food was just polite but certainly not warm nor pleasant.
With a waitress barely...clean looking
Then for the menu I didn't expect more than burger style, however the quality of the meat is superior than at McDo, the bread was not crispy ingredients very basics and size quite small. No side dish included for a price higher than other place from this range. I canno't say it was a good burger
The whole experience and balance price /quality was not right at all, that's why I don't recommendMore
The food is amazing, their home brew beer is just amazing, and I dont even like beer that much, the Brisket just melts in your mouth, recommend for me this is the best place to eat if you are in Prague and have a big...appetite.More
We loved the menu, staff were efficient and spoke good English and the food arrived quickly. The burger I had was amazing, perfectly cooked and the fries were awesome! Thanks guys, we shall be returning asap!
We are currently in Prague, coronavirus notwithstanding, and staying in a reasonably-priced hotel on the Legerova called the City Centre Amigo. More of that in another review...
The day before yesterday it piddled down all day. Ditto yesterday. We manfully (and womanfully) tried to do...all the touristy bits in the rain, when it became increasingly clear that all of the major attractions were being obliged by the Czech government to close their doors to people, tourist or otherwise...
Ford up, last night we sought solace in a good meal but we were apprehensive about finding somewhere decent close to our reasonably-priced hotel. Reasonably-priced, as any traveller knows, is often a euphemism for ‘off the beaten track’. My wife had a quick flick through the nearest good eateries and BadJeff’s popped up. We togged up for the weather and sallied forth, and we were not disappointed...
BadJeff’s is an unprepossing place from the outside, but on the inside it was very different. Cosy, bright and clean, and the staff were very attentive. The young man (as most of them are these days :-( ) who served us was really pleasant. His English was excellent and he talked us through the menu: what was good, what the allergens were, etc. I had a portobello mushroom with blues cheese and a spring onion sauce, followed by the ribs and some sweet potato fries and the Red Ale to wash it down. My wife had a gluten-free burger. Though the restaurant was over half full the food was served in very good time. It was piping hot, well-presented and absolutely delicious. The beer was brewed for the restaurant and it was great - I’ve not found a Czech beer I didn’t like.
The whole meal cost around 1,300 Kr which we thought was very good value . The first night we were here we spent more at a place a friend of mine recommended and it was not good at all. This place is one of those ‘off the beaten track’ gems. We went only because it was close to our ‘off the beaten track’ hotel and we were tired and footsore. It was a great discovery, and wherever you’re staying in Prague you should try eat here.
When we’re allowed back into Prague and the Czech Republic - at the time of writing British Nationals have been banned from travelling here - we’ll definitely pay BadJeff’s a visit! Lahodne!More
