A nice little shop although some of the gingerbread is quite expensive for what it is. It's not a strong tasting gingerbread, it's very mild. Personally, a stronger ginger taste would be preferred by me. Pretty all the same, good for the kids.

If you love gingerbread this is the place for you. If you are at the Castle and walking down Nerudova Street to Mala Strana stop by, take a look. It's cute ! If you have kids with you, even better. It's been in the same location for many years under the same name , so business must be good. Most people, myself included, point out, that the shop is not a " Museum." However, it does not look like they mind the criticism. The sign over the entrance is there to stay:) If you like gingerbread , it should not really matter ....because when you think of it, what else could be displayed in Gingerbread museum , but ginger bread cookies ....

not a "museum" as such, but a quaint little shop with a delightful owner. Bought plenty of treats to take home to UK and everyone has loved the gingerbread - recommend a step here

We stopped over as this was right near our hotel. While not quite a museum, it has loads of options of gingerbread. We got some small pieces which were soft and delicious.

The smell as you walk past this place is just amazing and I'm not really a fan of gingerbread. Staff members were friendly and helpful despite the shop being busy. We bought some things to take home as presents.

Although for some reason this shop is classed as a museum it is in fact a shop,a very good shop with an absolutely fantastic range of gingerbread cookies and cakes on display, very artistically presented and of really good quality, walking down Nerudova Street from the castle district it's a nice shop to drop into and purchase a few cookies to munch upon ,price is about what you would pay in the Mala Strana district and the shop is most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area. Easy to locate down one of the main tourist streets in Prague namely Nerudova Street and if your into your gingerbread cookies and cakes most definitely well worth a visit.

Hunted this place out planned our visit to walk from Prague castle to Charles bridge. The place isn’t really a museum it’s more like a shop. The gingerbread we bought was very nice and fresh.

I was so excited to come across a gingerbread museum and it was so delicious! We had a gingerbread man covered in melted chocolate from a chocolate fountain which was amazing! They also sell lots of gingerbread which all looks amazing.

First up, let me make it clear that this is not a museum. This is just the name of the shop. It is a shop that crafts it's own Gingerbread designs and sells them. And it's very good at doing that. There are some wonderful designs in store, and because we went in November they had just started creating their Christmas stock, and they have beautiful little gingerbread Christmas trees. There is what looked like a cafe at the back but it did not seem to be open. We had a nice little look round and bought some mini little gingerbread men, and they were delicious. We also got a gift to take back to the UK for Christmas, as the staff said they last for 3 months after purchase! Overall, worth the visit, just don't expect it to actually be a museum!

Really apprecaited the craft and work that goes into this beautiful shop but when I think of Gingerbread I think of that lovely smell it produces. But sadly you just don't get this when entering shop.

Fiest for the eyes. Tons of designs and options. You can also buy tools to make your own gingerbread. Some pieces hardened a bit after being kept for a couple of weeks, although they were well in their validity term.

Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
