Location and contact

At the time Prague builders began constructing the building originally intended as a warehouse for the State Tax Authorities, the brewmasters in Pilsen had been brewing the unique golden Pilsner Urquell lager for over a decade, specifically since 1842. And the officials from the Main Customs office, which was located in the Nova Celnice building on namesti Republiky from 1885, possibly drank this unique lager after lunch, just like you do today. Celnice is one of the first Kolkovna restaurants and it offers everything a Kolkovna requires. First-class services, unique Czech cuisine and, most importantly, Pilsner lager. The restaurant also offers draft Velkopopovicky Kozel, Master 13° Semi-dark

Moving people in and out quickly, big menu of standard fare. Kind of a neighborhood joint - nothing really special. Food was good, service average - just working for the TIP (which is one of the most annoying parts about Prague specifically and Europe in...More

Don’t go here unless you want to be ignored by rude staff! Waited ages to be acknowledged and went in to ask if it we should order at the bar, to be rudely told to wait in our seats for table service...after finally ordering and...More

We had dinner here yesterday and it was a pretty bad experience overall. The garlic bread we ordered along with our drinks as appetisers was forgotten. My main course (burger) was tasteless. The place was pretty crowded and the staff rather indifferent.

This was not one of our choices when we planned our trip to Prague; however, the weather in May prevented us from making a trek to our planned restaurant. The Hilton recommended this for traditional Czech food. So glad we decided to go! The restaurant...More

This unassuming cafe is a little gem. Whether we stopped for a glass of water, an ice coffee (oddly listed under "hot drinks") or a Caesar Salad we could sit as long as we liked in the cool breeze of the nearby trees. Situated in...More

We had a great meal here last night. Two couples enjoyed the baked cheese appetizer, burger, salmon, a local beef dish and a pasta dish. All were very good. Would have been a 5-star rating, except the entrees were slow to arrive. Drinks and appetizer...More

This is a racist restaurant. Servers basically ignore Asians. Food is also tough, not ripe and tasty. Never go.
