We walked past this place and stopped for a tequila. They have a goos selection that is fairly priced. decided to eat on the patio because weather was nice and it was too warm inside. The Azteca soup was very good but the main dished were average Tex-Mex at best and not even close to what authentic Mexican food should... More

In our opinion, comparing it to other Mexican restaurants we've been to, this was mediocre. There were only 3 vegetarian options on the menu so not a lot of choice if this is what you're after. The nachos were nice but it seemed strange to have to pick between either cheese or salsa to have with them. However if you're... More

Disney-Mexican. Food is tasteless and overpriced. Service staff is uninterested. They don't take credit cards. Don't see how this place gets a rating above 2

One of the musts during my regular visits to my hometown. A great place to start your night in Prague, with delicious food and cocktails. Need to book a table in advance, the place is super popular among locals. One warning: "El Diabolo" is really really spicy :))

Place is over rated. Food is highly over priced. Service is pathetic. Staff doesn't understand English. They take wrong order and quantities. You are made to pay for mistakes for staff. They are totally unapologetic for there mistakes. We ordered Which was supposed to be vegetarian and they delivered non veg dish, some of our members were strict vegetarian and... More

The Aztec Soup - Sopa Azteca was gorgeous (5/5)! The spinach quesadilla was a very good choice (4/5). The prawns burrito (Burrito de Marisco or Burrito de Camaron) was something to die for (5/5). Although the local beer (Pilsner Urquell) is overpriced here comparing to similar restaurants in this Quarter, they have a large selection of tequilas to choose from... More

Good place for an afternoon meal following a morning touring the castle area. Ordered a beef burrito and fajitas. Great portion sizes, decent quality food. If you need a change from the goulash it's not a bad option.

Amazing food and range of cocktails. Couldn't believe how reasonably priced this place was, my wine was even cheaper than my water! It was on the way to the centre from our hotel, probably wouldn't have visited if we hadn't walked past but glad we did.

My sister and I decided to stop by for dinner after seeing the good reviews. And it really was a great place! The interior was making the atmosphere cool and cosy, and even though the restaurant was full by the time we got our food (we were lucky to get one of the last tables, i think it's best to... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
