I can highly recommend this place for their pizza and pasta. It seemed like a hidden gem as we were the only English speakers when we we went, despite being so close to the main square. Very well priced and quick service, would recommend highly

Pizzeria Rugantino is located a short walk from the Old Town Square and delivers good food and drink at very reasonable prices. Service was prompt and courteous, everything came in a reasonable time, and it was an altogether pleasant meal.
Four Stars for good pizza! This is a rather basic restaurant, with a bar/osteria style, but it can be of great help if you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Prague and do not have time to book in advance or search around for...long. It offers Italian style cuisine, with very good and tasty pizzas, and also choices of other typical Italian dishes. The quality is good, and price is adequate, avoiding the higher prices you can find in other italian restaurants closer to the Old Town Square.More
It is really Italian restaurant. The tastes are wonderfull. We were very happy to be there. Prices are in good level
Decent pizza, but the service was very slow and not attentive. Pasta menu was short—if you go, I would recommend the pizza.
No fuss menu, simple tasty Italian food done well. We were made very welcome by the staff and our food arrived hot and cooked perfectly. We ordered a range of pizzas and beers and enjoyed the lot then stayed for drinks after the meal watching...a bit of football and were well looked after.More
Came in for dinner. Bread came to the table and we said no thank you, blonde server, who wouldnt give me her name, said we had no choice. We both have nut allergies so we told her we wouldn't be eating it. She insisted saying...we had to pay for is as per the menu. There is a small sentence on the appetizer page, not the main courses, that says 20 will be charged with each course automatically. Annoyed she never told us, we asked to cancel the order, but apparently it was too late. After that discussion we watched her complain about us to the bartender, and mock us quite loudly, making faces, and rolling her eyes. When mains came we told her we saw her complain about us and found it very unprofessional to do so front of house infront of us and other customers. Her face was shocked and she just said "No, whatever" and stomped away. After that, she was no where to be seen, and the bartender cleared our plates and billed us. There are plenty of other great restaurants around with very friendly servers, so don't waste your time here.More
Visited this restaurant as wanted to try different one to our usual so I could also compare it. Pizza was good, pasta dish was ok.
Very Nice place! Service excellent! Good selection of pizzas sallads and pasta! Staff friendly and prices fair👍🏻😎
SCREW IN THE PIZZA usually I don't write a bad experience about a place. But this place, even though the food was alright, the service staff have no manners of service. We found a SCREW IN THE PIZZA. even after telling them they are pretending not...to know english. They behaviour was just rude and impolite. NOT RECOMMEND.More
This was by far the worst meal we had in Prague. There is nothing good I can write about the food. The waitress did a fine job, but this is one of those place that puts a basket of old disgusting bread on the table,...which nobody touches, and then charges you for it. Drink selection was also poor and they didn’t even have numerous items listed.More
The worst service in Prague. It took them 45 minutes to give us the menu because the vaitress was busy flirting.
After spending a week on a Viking River Cruise we were ready for PIZZA and our hotel concierge recommended Pizzeria Rugantino. We liked it so much we went back a second time during our 3 night stay in Prague. Delicious thin crust cooked to perfection...and lots of interesting toppings.More
Pizzas were fresh out of the oven and on thin style crispy bases. Pastas (puttanesca and garganelli) were delicious. Service was very professional and friendly. Drinks were well priced. No complaints, and would definitely come back. Most importantly did not have to battle with crowds...to find a reservation or table.More
Although the restaurant was quite empty for a Friday evening we went in. We ordered typical Italian starters and main courses. The mozzarella in the caprese was very dry and dusted with oregano. Together with the not fresh bread we wondered how this restaurant is...able to spoil this kind of easy Italian products. The main course was a medium steak, a risotto and a salad. Also with these dishes the cook was not able to put any of his skills in it; the steak was dry, looked poor and tasteless. The risotto sticky and tasteless and the slad was nothing more as cut leaves with tomato. We paid overall too much for what was presented. The service was ok but the kitchen output needs definately improvement..More
