Whilst staying in the neighbourhood, myself and my friend who is a vegetarian stumbled upon this cosy little restaurant after heading out late to eat and were definitely impressed. The gentleman who looked after us during the evening was absolutely lovely and could not of been more attentive. I chose the seafood salad for my main which was absolutely lovely... More

Celebrated New Year eve together with my lovey beloved girlfriend and nearly missed the new year because everything, the atmosphere, the mood, the art and the conversations was so wonderful cosy and relaxed, but the waiter kindly remind us with a bottle of champagne that time rapidly approached. Food was maybe not the best in Prague but fine and so... More

Stopped by chance after the day in the Castle on our way back to the hotel. Great place! Very good house vine, great food. Fish was perfect as were local starters. If you're nearby definitely stop for a meal.

A little gem in the tourist area! Highly recommended, fresh fish, local wine and very tasty "honey cake". Will definitely visit again

Style: Quirky, cozy restauarnt Staff: Only saw the head waiter and while he was fairly efficient he lacked warmth and personality. Food: Interesting menu that included fried anchovies!

I ordered Rosita Chiken and Greek salad. And they were average and so fancy about this restaurant. Average

We came upon this little place while wandering the streets of Prague. It wasn't crowded at midday, and had tasty food. We started with the lamb sausages, which were not spicy but were full of flavor. The sausages went well with the house red wine, which was Merlot. We complemented the sausages with a plate of grilled mushrooms. For the... More

We loved this little spot. The staff was welcoming and the food was consistently good. Best of all it was a quiet corner away from the crush.

We were looking for some different and tasty food, but were totally disapointed with the poor food quality and the even poorer service. The grilled mushrooms were tastles and the presentation on cooked rise with some veges was just a poor sight. The soup of the day was chicken and it was below any restaurant standard. So many people have... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
