We found this place by accident, and it was a pleasant surprise! The food was tasty and was served not long after we made the order, and Marianne who served us made this experience even more pleasant with her friendly attitude.

We came on Friday for lunch and today for dinner and it was absolutely fantastic! Over lunch you can see and smell how they brew beer and in the evening you experience fantastic atmosphere and smell freshly baked bread! What a cozy place! The design...is modern, clean and the food as well as drinks are top quality! We tasted a few beers and had to come for more. My wife loved the wine from Morava as well! Definitely recommend for couples as well as friends for beer tasting. When in Prague, it is a must!More

My twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the New Town ( Nove Mesto) when we decided to drop into Pivovarky Dum Benedict ,this was my first visit to here but I remember years ago this was home to another brewpub ....This brewpub looks superb, light and airy, a cool looking serving bar, shiny brew vats prominently on display, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling New Town streets. We were greeted and seated by a very pleasant member of the bar team, a quick study of their beer range which I must say I was impressed with, in the end we both opted to have Klasterni ipa ,these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular brewpub while sipping our ipa's . My ipa was really good, well balanced, well crafted, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it we both enjoy, it was just so good being in such a lovely brewpub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Pivovarsky Dum Benedict we were totally impressed. Pivovarsky Dum Benedict is easy to locate along Jecna . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11.30pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the New Town of Prague.More

Our first Prague experience, located close to our hotel. Nice brewery (lot of beers to taste!) and a limited menu per day with a starter and four mains. Food was tasty, homemade lemonade and beer were nice. Well worth a visit at small prices (compared...to the Netherlands).More

Pivovarský Dům Benedict is a superb place to visit as it offer's superb beers and a very good food range and is located in an area were there are many interesting pubs/bars and restaurants. Located on Ječná in the Nové Město area of Prague'this is...a really good brewery and restaurant with a superb look and feel with many interesting fixtures and features that relate to beer throughout it's multi-roomed interior and superb seating areas and was well worth visiting on our ten day holiday in Prague. Very much a brewery and restaurant with a brewery and restaurant interior with all the brewing equipment on display as you walk into the entrance. We went to here early on in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places. As we had only just had a meal we decided to have a flight of there beers which where very good and price wise on par with other brewery and restaurant's we went to.This is a superb place to visit as is the area and is easy to find from Štěpánská tram stop its a short walk away.(This is my 1st review of the Pivovarský Dům Benedict). We really had a great time at this place! First of all all the waitresses were so nice and friendly, even those who didn't speak english. Everything we ate was so tasty and delicious, from the gulash to the soup. Beer was good and they...had a wide choice, and even lemonade was great. But what really made our dinner unforgettable is the small birthday surprise the waitresses did for us. It was the b'day of a friend, and they agreed on carrying a piece of strudel for him with a sparking candle and singing "happy birthday" for him! No charge for that, they just did it with kindness. Thank you so much from all our hearts! We strongly recommend this place and will come back on our next vacation for sure!More

A blonde waiter that we had never seen all evening and who only brought us the bill mistreated us because he thought we didn't want to leave the tip. We were calculating how much to leave in Czech crowns. He slammed the change on the...table and made strange faces towards his colleagues. So we left the minimum. If you don't have patience and don't know how to be polite with customers, change job. Un cameriere biondo mai visto per tutta la sera e che ci ha portato solo il conto ci ha maltrattati perchè pensava non volessimo lasciare la mancia. Noi stavamo calcolando quanto lasciare in corone. Ci ha sbattuto il resto sul tavolo e ha fatto facce strane verso le sue colleghe. Così abbiamo lasciato il minimo. Se non hai pazienza e non sai essere educato con i clienti cambia mestiere.More

The restaurant has a great athmosphere. Best you reserve a tablt for your visit. The waitresses are very forestall. The food and also the beverages are awesome. The best of it - it carries my name ;-). They have their own private brewery - they...serve the beverage directly in their own restaurant. They serve different beers from pils over dark and smoke to nettle beer. Very delicious stuff. Defnitly a visit worth.More
