On my must-do list every time I am in Prague. This place has been the most consistent restaurant in terms of quality and service from day one. Under the watchful eye of the owner, this place never disappoints. A "must try"...

We had lunch at this place, food, service, location, tops. We sat outside and watched the world go by, also very reasonably priced. Would I go back there again? You bet.

Enjoyed a light Italian spaghetti with salad and delicious fruit of forest and I really cream dessert. We were pleasantly surprised. Wait or was attentive and warm & friendly. Classy decor. Price was reasonable too.

Jovo, the owner and chef, is a celebrity and a very good host. His restaurant is large and very well organised serving fresh and tasty food inspired from Italian and international cuisine. At Kogo you will be seated along with the locals that count in Prague. It is open from morning til late at night.

My wife had been here before, some years ago. We had a lovely meal. In particular my carpaccio of beef was fantastic. The Italian family at the next table thought that the food was very authentic. I would agree.

I ate better linguini con aglio, olio e gamberi in this restaurant than in all of Tuscany, where I went a week after Prague. Atmosphere in the garden terrace is very cosy and refreshing, staff is friendly. They also have great desserts.

Very nice food. The grilled sea bass is amazing. Wide range of choices. We were with a large group and food was served fairly quickly. Additional exquisite service was missing for the fifth star, but I really enjoyed it. Would surely come back here.

I like this restaurant a lot and i go as often as i can. In summer time you fill like being somewhere close to the see and enjoying your vacation. The speciality of the place is seefood which is always super fresh and perfectly prepared. Stuff is always friendly and fast. They have very nice wine selection for good prices.... More

Very poor experience. Went for dinner with my wife. Waited too long for the food although the restaurant was not full. Three out of the four dishes were very bad.

Kogo is a favorite and where we usually take visitors for a number of reasons. The food is always excellent, the wine list is excellent, the service is excellent. In the summer the garden is a nice respite from the hoardes of tourists that overflow through Prague.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
