Really yummy food...the blue cheese and squash salad was fab and the boar cheeks fell apart. Good efficiency service. The waiter was really great with us and despite new change in government rule over cash/,card/tip et c he handled it really great with our table of 11. fillot mignon also excellent. Went outside for a photo after and great views... More

We picked this restaurant more for its location than the food. It's right on the river, with nice views of the Charles Bridge. Not really hungry, my wife and I each had excellent salads and some lovely Moet Champagne. It was exactly what we wanted. I'm sure the food is great, but the setting and the ambiance are enough to... We booked this table for a smart dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. We booked by email and they were great at corresponding via email in English. We had inadvertently discovered their sister restaurant at lunch time, Kampa Park, and were very impressed - so much so that we were relieved that it was the sister restaurant as lunch was... More

We had reserved the outside seating area for dinner. However due to rains the entire outdoor area was closed. So we had to enjoy the delicious food inside. The selection for drinks and food was amazing. The service was top notch. Everything tasted excellent but missed the outdoor seating with river views.

After a weeks river cruise down the Rhine river (through Uniworld, itself a great experience) we were not expecting to be impressed anymore after visiting and dining in many excellent old towns along the way with fantastic vineyards, breweries and restaurants. We were in for a surprise. Prague is a beautiful city and this restaurant was a befitting summary of... More

Lovely restaurant on the river. Food was well prepared and great value. Service was friendly but could have done with some help, especially in keeping us topped up on beverages!

Very good restaurant, service was good and food delicious. Portions are on the big size. I had a salad as starter but could easily have it as main dish. Place is elegant but not very formal. It is a good place for a romantic dinner or friends get together. Reservation is recommended.

The view is perfect of both the bridge and city. The food, service and interior is top flight. A little hard to find, but worth it.

Stumbled across this restaurant one lunch time we went through the gates to see the unusual water feature of two men weeing (fountain) into the pond and went down the slope to the entrance. Greeted in a warm and friendly way our coats were taken and we were shown to a table which looked directly out to the river and... More

We went here for lunch on the advice of a friend who lived in Prague for eight years. The view was perfect, the food even better. Pate and good pea soup to start, lovely piece of perfectly cooked beef with veg and great potatoes with great crunch on top. You won't be sorry! Staff was very friendly and the service... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
