La Veranda was our first and last restaurant in Prague. This is a town of great restaurants and La Veranda stood out. It is so good that the waiters take an obvious pride in their service and the quality of the servings, e.g., the food’s...quality and the quality of its preparation. I strongly urge you to go there. I see by their entry on Tripadvisor that its price is rated at $$$$. I do not remember it as being expensive.More

Such a wonderful bistro restaurant. Like a grandmas kitchen with a feeling of spring, warm and welcoming. Service Excellent. Food delicious! Fusion with a home cooked twist. We enjoyed our evening and every bite.

I promise if you book La Veranda you will not be disappointed, your tastebuds will be blown away. The service is fantastic as well as the food! It may cost a tad more than other places but well worth it.

We came across La Veranda by accident but so glad we did. A tiny bowl of soup to have with our bread and oils before a beautiful duck pats and beef tartar. Main course from board was pulled roast boar in a fiaghot ball served...with Czech dumplings and a cranberry gel. Absolutely delicious. Excellent but not too intrusive service. Highly recommended.More

The two of us just dropped in on an early evening without reservation. The small restaurant is on a side street close to Intercontinental hotel. We felt immediately welcome - servie was good and pleasat, as well as the casual atmosphere. The menu contains local...food with international twist, as well as some international dishes - my pressed Lyon duck confit was excellent and so was the fish my wife had ! Since a lot is invested in the preparation of each dish, be prepared to wait some time - however, in our case we found that the pace and rhythm was very relaxing. Price/quality is very good, and we had some interesting good quality local Sauvignon. The bread served with the meal was very good - not self evident in Prague. Very pleasant and good - would go again.More
