The best dinner of our vacation! Kampa park was beautiful delicious and all around exceptional! We even came back a second night with our friends because we had to show them how amazing it was!
We we went to Kampa Park for our 1st Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 20th May. We have eaten a lot of quality restaurants but this is the best meal we have ever had . The service was second to none and compliments go to the...waiter we had. Nothing was too much trouble , we had one of the tables on the inside terrace with a view of Charles bridge. The starters prawns and the scallops were the best 2 starters I have ever tasted. The beef fillet main course was out of this world and to finish the chocolate fondant melted in your mouth. Over all an incredible experience that we will always remember . Thank you .More
Excellent quality and excellent service. Romantic atmosphere. Too too expensive. The fish was fresh and perfect cooking
Amazing service, our waiter was very knowledgeable with food and wines. Went out of his way to make sure we had beyond impeccable service. In our stupidity we didn’t get his name. We couldn’t decide what to eat and so he made smaller portions of...both dishes, even given us a complimentary glass of burgundy. We were recommended this restaurant and will recommend to our friends. The food is incredible. The setting lovely and possibly best restaurant for fine dining in Prague. Expensive but worth every penny,More
Me and my wife researched top rated restaurants with Michelin stars and recommendations and chose to have our last dinner in Prague at Kampa Park. Huge mistake. The first impression when we got there was good. Great location and friendly staff greeting us. We were...placed at a table directly below one of the speakers, and the music was a little too loud. But the waiter handled this well and turned down the music a little bit upon our request. We decided to go for the degustation menu (3450 CZK) and had high expectations for the food, as this is 1000 CZK more expensive than the degustation menu at Michelin starred La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise which we visited the day before. The first dish was the tuna tartare with caviar and butter sauce. This dish was well balanced and delicious. The most successful dish of the night. The second dish was the foie gras with mango chutney, cashew cream and five spice sauce. The dish lacked a little bit of freshness, but the foie gras was well seared and delicious. Third dish was the miso marinated salmon with wasabi-green pea purée, crispy spring onions and teriyaki sauce. The dish was a bit anonymous, and the teriyaki sauce camouflaged any flavour from the fish. The fourth dish was the Japanese Kobe beef striploin with broccolini, Hasselback potatoes and green peppercorn sauce. A poorly constructed dish, with no freshness or acidity to balance out the fatty piece of meat. A big let down. The dessert was a profiterole with a passion fruit sauce, which was okay. All in all, our visit at Kampa Park was the most expensive of our restaurant visits in Prague. Still, it was the least satisfying dinner experience. It’s a tourist trap. To me it felt like the management had instructed the Chef to put certain expensive ingredients on the menu only to be able to charge top prices. The cooking was not up to the standards expected at this price. If I was to be spending 7000+ CZK on a dinner in Prague again, I would not return to Kampa Park.More
Fantastic views, amazing views and the most wonderful staff. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating, the food was the best we had in Prague. Would definitely recommend
I thought it was impossible to beat my previous favorite prague restaurant Zem , but alas it has been done. We visited Kampa park 2.4.2023. Instantly when I arrived at the location I knew I was in for a treat. The scenery , The lit...path leading you to the restaurant makes you feel old money and amazing. (viz photos) We were seated on the porch right next to the water. It felt so nice and cozy. The waiters were very attentive and helped me choice my drink. When it comes to my restaurants I am willing to pay the price for premium so I will nit pick every detail and provide constuctive criticism. 🍸Drinks - Well done , I loved their high society cocktail , but the dry martini was a bit bitter. 🍞Bread - Would love to see them experiment a bit more. Bring the bread warm. Try maybe s pumkin bread and s better choice of butter. We tried their 5 course degustation menu. 1️⃣The amouse bouche was a beef tartare. It was tasty , but because the first course was a tuna tartare I felt a bit “overtartared” relative to the menu 2️⃣The first course was the tuna tartare. I liked that they poured the sauce infront of us . A staple in michelin star restaurants. It was well prepared a delightful 3️⃣The Second course was the Fois gras. It was so soft and butterlike. I very much so enjoyed this course. Thought by personal preference would choice a different flavour bind than the mango. 4️⃣The third course was the salmon. My My I must say that they impressed me with this one. I dont think ive had a salmon this good anywhere else. The sauce was on point and i loved it. 5️⃣The fourth course was the steak. Absolutely delectable. Soft perfectly done. I cant complain. 6️⃣Lastly I was very happy to see that they allowed me to switch out the last course ( the dessert ) because I always love a chocolate fondue and i saw it on the menu and wished to try it. It was alright. Not the best fondue I’ve had but also not the worst. My colleague had the dessert assorted with the menu and was a little underwhelmed as well ,so i would say theres a bit of room for improvement on the dessert , but otherwise i was very impressed:) Overall definitely a place I recommend everyone to try. I hope to see them improve on the things i listed. And if they do I will certainty revisit and continue to recommend. Thankyou :)More
No doubt this restaurant is sited in a wonderful setting, right on the riverfront looking over to the old city. And service overall was very good, the staff were friendly and welcoming. But we were underwhelmed with the quality of the food; we ordered two...vegetarian dishes and they were quite mediocre. Our waiter was charming, but we felt he kept trying to up-sell us to more expensive dishes/wines. Most annoying was that, on our waiter’s assurance that their ‘top of the line’ Czech wine would be extraordinary ("from a small family farm... you will truly appreciate the terroir", etc.), we splurged to get it and were quite disappointed -- it was certainly nothing special and rather boring (I found out later that the online reviews of this wine also gave it a “meh” review). So, in our experience it was definitely a mixed bag for the very hefty price…More

Everything you expect from restaurant you can get here. I am sure we will be back very soon. Service, food, ambience, everything on high level.
We had a wonderful evening with extraordinary food and drinks. Of course not cheap but with this breathtaking view of the bridge, the perfect service and the delicious food its absolutely worth it. Our culinary highlight of our trip to prague!
The food, the service, and the location were amazing! The view from the terrace was stunning with the sunset and the bridge illuminated !! The waitress, I think her name was Nicole was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back to Prague and...Kampa ParkMore
Such a great restaurant. Had lunch there yesterday- the food and wine was exceptional. And the service was impeccable and personal. Thank you Judi for taking care of me and for the excellent recommendations. The view of the Bridge and city beyond is breathtaking.
We had the most amazing dinner last night. 5 ladies on a work trip. The food was incredibly well thought out and most interesting flavour combinations. To top this we were served by a lovely gentleman who had us in stitches. A shame we havent...found out his name - regret not asking. I believe he has been there 10 years. Just fantastic!!!! We did quiz him about the chef ;) ! An absolute treasure of a place- highly recommended!!!!More
