when in Prague, where we come regularly, we always visit a Jazz Club and go to the opera. This time we have chosen the Jazz Dock. easy to rech even when it snowed, but be careful when going down the staircases. Inside you find a quite simple but very charming bar and long tables and smaller tables where you can sit on good enough chairs and can take a drink or get some average quality food. But you come for the music and you can be sure here they invite just fantastic players and singers. we went to James Harris and his fantastic band. The music was better than expected even here. The evening was a huge success. The price 480 krones pp when you want tosit; you can chose to stand for 280. we will return for sure to enjoy another band they chose!! It is a fantastic club. With good beer too.

Great evening of head nodding jazz standards. Staff couldn’t have been lovelier, very attentive table service and really nice laid back atmosphere in which to enjoy a couple of hours in the company of the beautiful vocals and accomplished playing of the At Eas trio. Highly recommended for those now looking at Prague’s techno scene fondly in the rear view mirror!

Booked in England before we travelled. You have to register as a member but its very simple. Thier website has a preview of the acts so you can pick which night best suits your taste. It's a lovely club with lots of atmosphere. I would imagine in the summer when you can see the views it would be even better. Service was excellent
We had dinner, a bottle of wine and two beers. With booking fee total came to around £80
So excellent value for money.
Most importantly the jazz was excellent. Definitely worth a visit

Went to see the Bladderstones - great band, great atmosphere. Very easy to book tickets on line and had superb seats reserved for us. The wine was good and reasonably priced. Lots of other drinks and food available. The staff were polite and efficient. FYI: vaccination status was being checked at the door - don't know if this applied to everyone or just to foreigners. If you're going make sure you have your documentation handy.

Great place, we listened to the Matej Benko Quintet, very nice concert, great compositions, short sizes. Very friendly welcome, remember to book on their website. It is a jazz club with a very good programming. Merci Au Matej Benko Quintet👍👌👋

We were there with friends. Great lofe concert, excellent musicians. Good atmosphere. Also possibility to have dinner, but we did est there. Must be top in summer: terrace direct at the Vltava-river.

Literarly here right now. Second amazing concert in last month, great place, great atmosphere, worst sound I’ve ever heard.
For anyone who needs to hear this and don’t know- if you plan to open a concert venue or any place related to sound- glass is not the veeeeeery best wall material. The two sound walls behind the stage and bar is hilariously gimmicky. Second time I’ve been here, second great music, second time I feel like my head is being machine-gunned and not in a good way. this place is the worst sound engineering f-up since Jessie J ft The Queen at the Olympics.

What a lovely cozy place! Great local beer, great jazz concert and great food. A Canadian group were touring and a local pianist stood in at the last moment as their pianist was ill. The woman had an amazing voice and could really play the trumpet.

Beautiful place and good concerts... But a very bad experience with two girls of the staff. We arrived 45 minutes before the jazz concert and, when arrived at the place, a girl explained us that all the tables were booked, so we could only get standing places for the gig. Once the concert started, as some of the tables were completely empty, my girlfriend asked to another member of the staff: "In case somebody doesn't show up, could we please sit?". The answer was very rude: "No, all is full and everybody is here".
Arround 40 minutes after the concert started, one of the tables (with four chairs) was still empty. Another couple besides us asked the same waitress with the same percentage of success, so we were standing in front of an empty table with empty chairs... Suddenly, a group of local people decided to sit on the chairs... We explained the unfair situation to the waitress: "The table was empty for more than half and hour and we asked you, but those people didn´t... So that's not fair for us". The lady was impolite and bad-mannered again: instead of explaining the people that we asked before them (and even if we are foreigners we have rights and we do like to sit), she only said "sorry".
Don't like this kind of different treatment just because you are from other country, even more in a place were musicists from many different countries, from Jorge Rossy to Kendrick Scott, come to play their music... I am very sorry to use these words, but that can only be called 'racism' or at least a type of 'elitism', mistreating foreign people in contrast with usual local customers.
Even if Prague became a very touristic place, don't treat people from other countries like tourist. You don't know where they come from or their circumstances. Be kind and polite with everybody. That's as much as important as music is.

Booked out table online to see a live performance of Five Rivers Blues Band. Prior to our visit, we didn't know anything about the band or the bar/restaurant and I must say - our first experience was great!
The cocktails we ordered were amazing. The Bloody Mary (which I normally don't like) was really something else. The service was fast and pleasant. The atmosphere was great, chill and really really enjoyable.
The band played amazing, we loved the live performance, and if we lived in Prague, we would definitely be going again and again to see them perform.

A nice jazz club with a swinging live performance of a local jazz band at the border of the river. Entrance fee was 13 euro for a seat or 8 euro standing or sitting on a stool at the bar. You can order out of a magnitude of cocktails prepared professionally. Pleasant atmosphere.

one of the only really functional venues in Prague ( from a musicians point of view ).
Great quality throughout , sound , staff , drinks , food etc...
Wide range of styles ( not just Jazz) so check the listings ahead of time - but all good quality music.
Nice atmosphere that works for both musicians and customers - highly recommended

Every visit of this original place is an excellent experience! You wil find always very good artists on the programme. The space brings you to cool mood and you can have a nice dinner, too.
