I had the opportunity to have dinner at this place with my family. Excellent quality/price ratio. With less than 60 euros in total we found ourselves full and satisfied (there were 4 of us)! Furthermore, the waiter was really helpful and patient: he tried to translate the dishes and explained everything to us in detail! I advise!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. We had 4 nights in Prague and we were fortunate to find this wonderful place on our 1st night. It was so good we went back twice more....so 3 out of 4 nights we ate here and we usually have a rule when traveling not to go back to the same place. But the food and service were outstanding so we couldn't resist and we were not disappointed. The flavors, options, quality and quantity exceeded our expectations on every visit.
If you are in Prague put this place at the top of your list.

This Cellar Bar, nicely laid out, has friendly service a good Wine List and Beers, cold drinks and spirits plus a food menu. I drank here on two evenings recently with new friends and the ambience was fine. We chatted happily for three hours that passed too quickly. Service was good and prompt all of the time and the Bar was comfortably warm and clean. I can recommend the choices and the prices.

Recommended to book a table at terrace on first floor during summer. Very kind waitress. Huge selection of wine (tiny part of it we’ve tasted was very good). Prices are a bit higher, so is quality of drinks and food. Recommended for date with wine appreciation.

We had a lovely meal but the waiter tried to overcharge us by adding another dish to our bill. He was very quick to sort it out but if I hadn't read a review saying they'd done this before I may not have noticed.
Prague seems to do this regularly, be careful

We arrived here just to taste some Czech wines and then after some excellent suggestions on the wines, we decided to take dinner. The food was really of high level, with good, delicate, and delicious taste. The wines that were accompanying the food were also excellent.
I really suggest you to visit this place to enjoy really good wine and food.

Staff very rude and unfriendly was told when odering 2 beers we must stand at the bar we couldnt sit at any empty tables as they were all booked. But the manner and aggresive nature of the barman was out of order.

Senkovna was recommended to us by a member of staff at hotel we were staying at. There was live entertainment, traditional/folk band playing which was a great atmosphere. Food was delicious, wine good too.

Close to the turistic places but full with locals with friendly staff. Check the cold apetizers and try the gulas.

Service was excellent and friendly, with huge wine collection, very tasty food (great Greek style chicken plate with tzatziki, and one of the best tartars). Easy recommendation,
one of the best places in Prague.

Had one night when food was really good and another when the sous vide pork was awful. I complained but the waiter was indifferent to my complaint. They are always busy for drinking, so I guess they don't care so much about diners.

I visited it after a restaurant. It was open. Service was good, it wasn't too busy.
We didn't try wine or food, so might be worth a visit again...

Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
