The Beer is Superb. But the Hungarian goulash is amazing. The staff is very friendly. One of our favourite pubs in Prague.

Visting prague for the first time myself and the wife where going around the vyšehrad Castle. As we walked down the street towards our tram stop, we noticed this nice wee place with outside seating and tables under a canopy. Decided to stop by and...have a drink. Both owners were attentive and friendly and having had our two drinks we decided we would eat there. Ordinarily we would of just headed to mcdonalds near our hotel in Andel, but it was such a nice day relaxing atmosphere and watching the world go by we decided no we would try something different. The wife had fries and fried cheese. The owner had advertised the fact she had made fresh Ghoulash and was it something I was interested in trying. I decided yes lets go for it. I am glad I did. Was very nice and the dumplings lovely as well. The price was very good for the drinks and the food. The wife enjoyed her meal and we both left this place happy. Only thing worth noting is that they don't take card, so do please take cash. We sadly had to use the ATM a wee bit down the street and it cost me 4 pounds for the privilege to take out a minimum of 1000kc !! thankfully I had this in the bank but I hate being ripped off on these ATM machines. My own fault for not taking much cash with me. So not the fault of this establishment. Recommend you visit :) and thanks to the owners for the friendliness.More
Really nice find off the beaten track . Cheap drinks and friendly staff . Can't comment on food . Also has a big TV for sports
I went with my partner for dinner. The food is good and quite cheap and the beer is very very good :) :)
Cheap and tasty beer, good food with the price much cheaper than in the center, very kind bartender, pleasant music.
We were staying at the Park Inn and found this as a bar on the first night of our stay. Lovely bar, cheap drinks and full of locals. Owner even helped up with our language skills(or lack of them). We returned daily for a drink...whilst trying other restaurants in the area. on the last day we had lunch there and what a treat - it was super! Calamari and salad and the best Czech burger. Thank you!More
Read the positive reviews on trip advisor and thought we would like to try the local food. We were served by the owner who was more than happy to accommodate our complete lack of Czech! The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Will...definitely return in the future.More
If you're visiting vyšehrad, this place is a good option if you're not looking for anything fancy. Homemade food, simple Balkan dishes at a low price. Very lovely owner served us.
After an afternoon walking up to and around Vysehrad we usually call into this lovely pub / restaurant. It has a variety of tasty snacks - including langoš this time (fried savoury dough with garlic, cheese and ketchup - delicious and unhealthy!). The meals look...nice too. It serves 10° & 12° svĕtlé Staropramen as well as 11° světlé / 12° černé Kozel. It's good to watch the world go by, either sitting inside looking out through the nautically themed window or out on the little pavement 'terrace.' The service is good and we always feel welcome despite our limited Czech.More
We came to this restaurant after failing to get a reservation at the place we initially wanted to go. Sort of a Greek flair to the menu. Very Reasonable prices, great food, and cold beer.
Balcan specialties, sea food, pasta, rissoto, salads ... Every day for lunch with my colleagues. Nice sitting outside durring the summer.
Fantastic simple food done exceptional well. Cold beer! This family run restaurant has exception friendly service, which s not always the norm in Prague. It won't cost a fortune to give this restaurant a go.
