Great food. Had a pizza and a 1L beer. Service was great and the pizza was really good. Definitely recommend as it’s also in a really nice location

The food was delicious, service very attentive. The manager noticed my wine had an incorrect color from the distance (I knew nothing) and brought me a new glass of wine on the house.
We paid 1500 czk (tip included) for 2 pasta dishes, 2 deserts and 6 glasses of wine.

Out for a stroll, found this place. Service was best we’d had since we arrived in Prague. Food was very good but can’t say enough about the friendly staff who genuinely seemed pleased we were there - made the whole experience very enjoyable. Nothing lacking.

I ate here with my family and the food was fine, nothing amazing but nothing bad. It was a very expensive bill however for what we had and I think one of the great things about being in Prague is local food at amazing prices- you wont get that here.
Also no atmosphere whatsoever. The staff were very insistent in taking someones coat in our party even though they politely asked to keep it with them as all of their money was in it- after this it created a bit of a bad atmosphere.
Wouldn’t recommend there are much friendlier places to eat with better food and value.

Thank you for visiting our about. We regret that you didn't feel good, but we think putting your coat in the dressing room is appropriate in our company. As for the prices, they are displayed on several outdoor menus so everyone can check them out before entering the restaurant and consider whether they are suitable for him. My friend and I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant on our first night for a drink. The staff were all very lovely and accommodating, particularly the young male waiter with the blonde hair, he was so kind.
We came back tonight to try the food, I am vegan and the male waiter with the ponytail was so accommodating and recommended a dish and asked the chef to alter it.
My friend is not vegan and he assured me the prawn starter and the seafood spaghetti was delicious.
They were all so lovely, topping up our drinks without hesitation.

We had a great time here, with the assistance of a very nice waiter George. At first we ordered medium steak and it turned out to be well done, he reacted fast and changed the whole dish with extremely tasty tiramisu and drinks on the house. My fiancée and I appreciated him a lot not only about he sincerity but also his warm serving .

I was there during my very short visit in Prague, in the middle of the big storm. The restaurant was plenty of people who wanted to eat a dinner. It was quite late, the closing hour was soon but every person who was in the restaurant was handled with great care.
We ordered Baked zucchini rolls with scamorza cheese and tomato sauce, Risotto with mushrooms, thyme and parmesan cheese and Tortelloni with ricotta in shripm and mashroom sauce. Each dish was delicious.
But the most important in the restaurant are people who work there. Every person is very kind, helpful, friendly and so nice. It was a real pleasure to meet Jiří and Dominic who served us that evening.
I recommend this restaurant deeply from my heart!!

My wife and I walked past by chance and she was enticed by the dishes being served to guests in the outside seating area. so we sat down for a meal I wasn't expecting. I thought it would be a standard Italian but I was so wrong. The ambience was fantastic, great lighting, location and well decorated. The two waiters Arsi and Lada were very pleasant and friendly. They were attentive but not intrusive. A credit to the restaurant. The food was superb and even the house red got me by surprise. Fresh homemade pasta, amazing balsamic and my risotto was so flavourful. The beef tortellini was astonishing. Highly recommended.

Very friendly English speaking waiters. Food is delicious 😋 highly recommended, but be ready to pay much higher price. Location is in the very city center of old town. Good seating outside, and inside is pretty and clean as well.

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Prague.
We did try an alternative Italian venue in between that frankly left us underwhelmed by comparison.
Of course I can’t claim it’s the best Italian restaurant in Prague as we didn’t try them all but I can well believe it must be up there.
We ate outside however the service from the staff was superb, nothing was too much trouble, they were attentive polite and informative worthy of any high end restaurant and a credit to the restaurant team, the ambience they created was just right and they made you feel special.
Between us over two visits we tried a fair chunk of the offerings from the menu, nobody was left disappointed the flavours were complex and complimentary and the textures just right. The complimentary bread with oil and balsamic was a particularly welcome addition and the bread was just perfection !
The wine choice was comprehensive in a city where wine choice is a mixed bag!
It’s not the cheapest in Prague but then by comparison to the UK it’s excellent value and in my experience you mostly get what you pay for!
Based upon our experience this restaurant is highly recommended and a credit to the team that make it happen.

Authentic Italian food with outdoor seating on a summer evening. The food was moderately priced (typical of Prague): the pasta was homemade, the dessert was amazing, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Not much more we could ask for!

Service was very good up until the point we wanted to pay and asked if we could pay a different amount per each couple rather than splitting, as my brother and his girlfriend shared a starter between them, unlike me and my boyfriend who had our own. The waiter was extremely rude, shaking his head and walking over to the bar to calculate the bill. After settling the bill, the waiter ignored us and didn’t say goodbye. I’ve never experienced such rude service from any restaurant. The food was extremely over priced, starters are around £18 and mains around £30-£40. We had much better food else where and we’re so shocked by the prices of the food when we arrived, we decided not to drink alcohol. Overall bad experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The Truffle Tagliolini was so delicious and flavourful without being overly rich. The ambiance was perfect for a winter’s evening - lights are strung up tastefully and a fire was going throughout our meal. Arsenii was very attentive and good-natured and even provided us with complimentary limencello shots at the end of our delicious meal. Would definitely return!

Slightly off the beaten path and away from the throngs of tourists lies Oliva Nera, an authentic Italian restaurant with superb food, atmosphere and service. My waiter, Arseny, was attentive, polite, informed and professional. The restaurant was spotless with lovely period decor and also had a charming outdoor dining space. I ordered pasta with black truffles, and the pasta was served quickly and perfectly al dente, the sauce was light and the shaving of truffles were generous. Paired with Prosecco, I enjoyed a lovely lunch at a restaurant where there was space between tables and music that was soft enough that I could hear my self think. I will return. Thank you Oliva Nera, and thank you Arseny!

Myself and 2 pals had the most delicious pasta ever. We've found the service to be slightly less then friendly in Prague until we came here. The service was fabulous. Filip gave my friends great advice regards what to order then made sure a tailor made vegan, truffle pasta was prepared for me. All three meals were absolutely delicious. So much so that we are planning on spending more of our short time in Prague here. We asked Irena to take a picture of us and she took a great selfie. We felt really welcomed. Thank you both and chefs!
