I ordered chicken and waffles and the waffles tasted rather stale/old and not fresh. I asked for extra syrup, and apparently they charged me 40kc for it. As an American, I wish I could recommend this place, but I cannot. (Good beer and nice waitress...though.)More
We visited Bejzment as a well-known place with delicious burgers. The restaurant looked really nice and made a great impression thanks to its decorations, names on the menu and its promo (yes, Ron Jeremy, haha). Also, the staff was friendly and nice so it's definitely...positive. Regarding the food, it wasn't as positive. I ordered the "Porn de Jeremy" burger as I found its ingredients attractive. I was surprised when I received my order (look at the photo) which is definitely a positive thing. It's funny, something unique and to be remembered for. However, the taste was rather average. The bun was like an average pastry (just with the right shape), meat was average as well and there was way too much sauce. Then, I had JD Honey BBQ sauce on the side and it was so very bad but I assume it was just me not being a fan of such taste as the sweet potato fries were delicious. The only positive was the peanut butter sauce but there was just a little of it. Lastly, the prices were way too high. Maybe I'm not used to prices in Prague but it was definitely not adequate the quality of the food. Also, I should mention that my friend was satisfied with his burger so perhaps I have just chosen the bad one. In the end, I'm glad I have visited such a place. I think it's worth visiting as there is plenty of burgers to choose from, it's pretty cool and you just should count on higher prices.More
This restaurant is quite expensive because you need to pay more for salad, fries and sauces but food is delicious. Waitress was super friendly and nice!
Found this place close by our VRBO apartment by the river in Prague and not far from a large shopping center with TESCO, Marks and Spencer, etc. Absolutely loved the unique burgers and toppings. Very clever menu items and generous size burgers. Also had a...classic cheeseburger with bacon and chili con carne, slaw and onion, even a gluten free bun option. A unique atmosphere if you visit the “Basement” but we were very happy with the food. Fries were good, onion rings were big fat traditional breaded type...were okay, ketchup is not like USA, so keep that in mind. I liked it, but my friend did not. Service was good. Really Loved the burgers! Would visit again.More
I will start by saying that I am by no means a food connoisseur, and pretty easily satisfied by any restaurant, but we were pretty disappointed with this place. I'm an American living in Prague, and while my dad's here to visit, he decided he...was in the mood for a burger. We found this place had good reviews on Google, so decided to check it out. Now, I will say the waitstaff seemed nice and were accommodating of our lack of Czech language skills. However, the restaurant itself left a lot to be desired. The whole place smelled weird and kind of dingy, and was oddly empty though we were told we needed a reservation (which, luckily, we had). The beer was meh, though their range of American sodas was impressive (of course, for a cost). The burgers themselves were what really let us down. They had an odd, unpleasant charred taste, and didn't come with fries, despite costing about $10 each. I know that this is a slightly more expensive restaurant, but for the location and atmosphere, it seems like you could have thrown in some fried potatoes for that kind of cost. Plus, everything was SO saucy. Like, dripping in sauce to the point where it was falling apart in our hands, and not in a good burger-juices kind of way, just this-is-way-too-much-BBQ-sauce kind of way. Other issues: we were charged for some things that were implied to be included (I.e. we were asked what sauce we wanted with our side of fries, only to learn that the sauce costs almost as much as the fries themselves, when we would have been happy with just ketchup), and though we asked for our burgers medium-well, mine was very well done and my dad's was medium at best. Overall, my verdict is: don't come here. There are several local pubs just around the corner that will serve you better burgers (if a bit simpler) for a fraction of the cost, in a much cooler atmosphere. I certainly won't be visiting again.More
Based on prior reviews our party of 8 came here for our last dinner in Prague. I made an easy online reservation at 6:15 for a 7pm seating. I realize this is late notice but, hey, their website allowed it. We all walked in and...the main dining area is downstairs. Found the host who had no idea I had booked online nor was there any room for us downstairs even though there were many empty tables. He offered seating on their street level dining area. The host also made it sound like our 8 people would put a major strain on their kitchen. We sat upstairs and noticed a generally dirty smoke filled environment and there was food on the door handle of the restroom. Many things on the menu had been marked out with a black marker. Clearly this place was not well that night. We decided to leave without ordering. SorryMore
We strolled on this restaurant by chance and at first glance were wary, however the food speaks volumes and once you look at the art you soon realise that this place is asking. The food was great, the beer was good and the staff were...attentive . Id recommend this place to anyone it should be on everyone's eat list.More

Hello, thank you so much!
Seriously! BEST. BURGERS. IN. PRAGUE. You just gotta experience this place. Great staff. If you love good old beef in a homemade bun, go here. Plus homemade fries with great sauces. Love it here!
Thank you for your positive review. We appreciate it!
Best burger place in Prague. The burgers are excellent and original, the homemade fries are delicious and the atmosphere is perfect (music and decoration)
Burgers are average there but french fries are quite terrible - they taste like raw potatoes that spent some time in healthy version of oil (actually maybe more water than oil). Also beer (Moucha) taste like being mixed with water.
Great service and environment, prices are fair and music is very nice. The only problem is that the beer is 400ml, not 500ml.
