It has a central location, therefore it's a very international place, a little hipsterish at the same time it has a cozy and friendly atmosphere, it's a nice place to rest a little bit from being pushed around in the crowd during sightseeing. 🙂 Also,...the service is very good, and they think of vegans. The beetroot tartar was very tasty. The menu is similar to that of Palmovka restaurant, because these places are connected (through the owner I believe). So, if you like the menu but you are looking for a place to eat and drink beer in a calmer and more silent neighborhood, visit Palmovka restaurant. Also, I think Sicily is rather for having coffee during the day, while Palmovka is more suitable for having a beer in the evening.More

We have been coming to Sicily Café for many years. Last week was our worst experience. Overlooked by waiting staff, not offered drinks. Califlower pancakes were disaster. We usually eat dinner here and this was a lunch meeting, I wonder it made a difference? Otherwise...previously great experience with salads, homemade pasta, desserts..,More

This place was located on the street where I was staying and I was jonesing for some good Italian coffee. This is the place, but it offers more. They offer wonderful selections especially for breakfast and brunch, Service was friendly and efficient and the scrambled...eggs I had were delicious. One weird thing was that they only open at 10 am, as do many other coffee shops in Prague. I finally found one that opened early.More

As Brazilians, we asked for a filtered coffee and it came almost like a tea. The waiter told us that the coffee was ok, but as the restaurant works with Brazilian coffee we know it wasn’t. We couldn’t drink it and the restaurant didn’t do...anything about it. Be sure not to ask that and pray for your food comes good, otherwise anything will be done to make it right.More

We came in to grab some food on our way back. The food was good even though I have never had good experiences in places near main stations. Nice atmosphere, clean, reasonably fast service. I did get my order mixed up but it worked out....Only problem was the warm beer really, I don't know if it was meant to be like that. It's also close to a few attractions so yeah, do go there if you're looking for food or coffee.More

Have late booking for dinner elsewhere but needed something tasty for lunch Risotto was just that not huge but very tasty. Reasonable price - wine also very nice - ambience good, some people working on computers coffee looked good too. Suddenly got busy at 4pm...and nice gentle hum of conversation. Definitely worth a visit as not as commercially driven as some on the area.More

Late in November I attended a meeting over dinner at the cafe, we were 8 people, had some soft drinks, coffee and wine and also several meals. I had pasta - fresh linguine, but it was overcooked, swimming in the tomato sauce, did not have...almost any taste. The eggplant was expected to be fried, but was almost raw. The service was poor, not even knowing what was currently on the menu, having to go back to the kitchen to ask for information. Others were told that the meals they ordered were sold out. All together, not good enough, so I cannot recommend.More

Stopped in for a late lunch. They have a menu of the day, and when we arrived, several dishes were sold out. Not a problem as what we desired was available. I ordered a salad topped with chicken and specifically asked for the dressing on...the side. The server understood my request. MDH ordered the whole wheat spaghetti with a vegetable sauce. Our food arrived, and I’m sure you know what occurred. I reminded him that I had asked for the dressing on the side and he said, oh yah, sorry about that. If I hadn’t physically handed him back the salad, I’m sure he felt he’d done a good deed. I did receive an undressed salad back (after the spaghetti (which was good but definitely wasn’t ww) had been finished by my spouse....no offer of dessert or coffee, but by this time we weren’t interested anyhow.More
