I made an order through Bolt in this restaurant 20.11.2020. By mistake I forgot to order naan bread, so to get some help I called to the restaurant (I was ready to pay this bread, but I didn’t want to make another order not to...pay delivery). The man who answered told that “he doesn’t have time to decide it”. It’s horrible service for me. I work as well in a very popular bistro in the city, and we also have very busy sometimes, but I will always decide the problem of customer. All he needed is to contact Bolt support and to ask to add the item to the order(Bolt food doesn’t have good support for the customer side, so I couldn’t do it). If you cannot - you don’t have time - I think it’s possible to add a bread as a present (I do it as well for customer, for example with a big bill - we had 500kč) The food was good, but the service made the mood of the dinner..More
Excellent grilled fish and outstanding service in a lovely bay in the middle of a forest park.quite place with a large parking place.
We came across this restaurant by chance as on our bus route into the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and well presented. The food was of high quality and on par with favourite Indian back in UK. The...prices were very reasonable and I would highly recommend eating there.More
Dear Kev Mac, Many thanks for your visit to our Spice India restaurant as well for writing nice review. Sincerely appreciated and we hope to welcome you again very soon. Kind Regards, Spice India team
The menu has lots of choice and is very reasonably priced. The food is delicious! Staff very friendly and helpful.
We visited this restaurant while we were visiting zizkov area and we were very stisfied with foods and services.
Very low fi Indian restaurant with great food and service! All kinds of curry, samosas, biryani, masalas, big portions, normal prices.. they spice it the Western way so no worries about that. The interior is very cosy and friendly, as is the staff. Two people...can easily share a meal and won't be hungry!More
Highly recommended for delicious food. Ambient is quite good. Pure Indian recipe with superb taste. Love it. Long live Spice India.
On our 5 days trip to Prague, we ended up going twice and eating the leftovers as well! Great food, really nice and friendly waiter and very cheap! 10/10 would recommend 👌👍
Lovely food and plenty of it. Well priced and nice selection on the menu. Seemed like more residents than tourists which is always a good sign. Curry tended to be sweet so suggest trying a spicier than usual option. No need to book walk-ins welcome....Quick service and good quality.More
I went to Spice India twice during my trip to Prague. Foods as well as services were great. One of the best experiences in regards to Butter Chicken and Garlic Nan. Great for take away as well. I would recommend this place if you are looking for...tasty Indian foods. Just go there and you wont regret for sure! Very close by Florenc Metro / Tram stop.More
We order online 3 or 4 times a month from spice india, the food always arrives in time nice and warm, and exceptionally delicious ❤️
I must have tried most of the Indian restaurants in Prague over the years but I always keep coming back to Spice India. Consistently good quality, delicious food.

Firstly, be prepared to order in English, because the waiters apparently does not speak Czech.. One of Czech food blogger recommended this India restaurant as the best Indian restaurant in Prague. Because I love Indian cousin, I was really excited and had probably very high...expectations. I do have a lots of experience with Indian restaurateurs in the UK, so I had chance to compare. I was shocked when I asked for tap water (which is actually esential to get jug of tap water to the table in Indian restaurant). The waiter response "we do not do. Sorry". Never happened to me in the UK in any restaurant. Se we were forced to buy 750ml still water for 80kč! We ordered mango chutney and poppadoms as starter. It was alright, just the poppadoms were a bit burned at the edge. As main meal we ordered Palak Chicken (it was nice), Chicken Vindaloo (was not really spicy, too sweet and lukewarm, probably the worst I have ever had) and Bombay potatoes (well, the taste was not such bad). We also ordered naan bread. The taste was like deep pan pizza dought. I tried hundreds of naan breads, but any of them tasted like pizza dough except that one. Also when we got the meal to our table I realised, that in literally every single Indian restaurant in the UK you get also salad, wedges of lemon, and some dressings as well as part of your meal (actually wery often you get also poppadoms for free of charge with mein meal) In this restaurant you get exactly what you order. If I compare value for money with any other Indian restaurant I have tried, Spice India is the worst and I am never coming back. It is really overpriced. And at the end they do not care about customers. There were three guys who were serving and three customers.. They were actually watching cricket on the bar on phone instead of serving customers. I went to the bar and asked for a bill. They let me stand in front of the bar and were still watching the cricket and did not care about me. Did not say thank you, bye..More
Dear Melonegirl, I am deeply sorry to hear your comments that you were not taken care of properly. I will surely discuss with my guys in the restaurant and it will be improved for sure. Now, let me respond to your comments on meals: Vindaloo...More
