The place has a minimal decoration and as a restaurant hotel you cannot expect a great amount of food in every plate , BUT the taste of the plates gives u the original taste of a Czech food. Not to mention the staff that they...are eager to help you , satisfy you and please you in every way. As far for the prices , it's ok for the whole experience. Tip : Try the stout beer , it' amazing.More

Called in for a evening meal, we where made welcome at this family owned restaurant which serves traditional Czech cuisine cooked to a high standard but still reasonably priced. They also do some good beers and a good selection of Moravian wines. The owner was...so pleased to see English guests back in his restaurant, we where given a free desert after he told us we where the first English guests he had in his restaurant in 6 months. Located at bottom of petrin hill with easy tram accessMore

The restaurant has a nice rustic atmosphere and a good selection of alcohol. The owner was very friendly and offered us home made Schnaps, which is definitely worth a try. Sadly the food was a bit disappointing. We ordered pork knuckles which turned out have...a bland taste and chewy consistency. I would come back for drinks but not for food.More

The food is five star. The prices are cafe. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Dress is casual. Again, the food is totally amazing. They brew their own beer. They cook from fresh. Cannot recommend highly enough. Seasoned Prague traveller, best...find ever.More

I visited this hotel with a friend and we can't praise it. Both accommodation and hospitality at 1 *. You will find a selection of traditional Czech dishes with the best service.

We walked into this place opposite the park for a drink and found a gem.We started with two dark beers which is brewed by them and boy is it good. Then as a lot of locals seem to eat there we gave the food a shot.I...had the pork knuckle and my wife had the goulash both really good .I would say the best we've had well done and nice staff will be back.More

We ate here on our way back from the Petrin Tower. The food was amazing and the service was great too!! Way better than we expected considering the reasonable prices. I would highly recommend the confit of duck and the apple pie for dessert!

Authentic feel in simple wooden tables and chairs a rustic feel. Food was excellent. Loved the Ragout of Deer in a very dark stout base. Family enjoyed the burger, goulash and especially the chicken schnitzel. Strong local beer. Very good value and everyone thoroughly enjoyed...the meal.More

Good food but very poor service. When the check was presented at the end of the meal I was told that I had to pay in cash ( no mention of this before being seated ). When I replied I didn’t have cash it was...suggested I go out to an ATM machine. I asked where it was posted that the restaurant was cash only - then I was allowed to pay at hotel reception. This establishment was the only disappointment in Praha :-(More

Had a lovely dinner here with my husband. Very tasty food and nice service. Asked for a glass of wine and a sommelier presented two Pinot noir. Later on I found out they also hade a house wine ... Tried their ice cream flamed in...Absinth and it was both delicious and spectacular as it was done by the table. Two main courses, desserts, wine, beer and we weren't ruined. Recommend this restaurant and it is perfectly located if you are staying at eg. Hotel Roma, a few steps away.More

The food was good. However, it is not possible to pay with cards - the staff only told us when it was time to pay and we had to walk 1+ km to find an ATM that wouldn't charge us excessive fees.
