This restaurant is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in Prague if you want a special meal. We went as a table of 3 couples and every course was perfect. The service was also spot on. There is also a great selection of wine...and drinks to complement the amazing food. Such a lovely evening. We will certainly be back when we are next in Prague.More

We wanted to try a French restaurant in Prague, which seemed promising from what was reported on specialized sites and guides, including the Michelin one. A very kind welcome, champagne and creams with croutons to await the first orders. Then a superb onion soup au...gratin for my wife and a country terrine for me, followed by two bœuf bourguignon - accompanied by a good Bordeaux - and to conclude a choice of French cheeses, with Sauternes for me and an almond liqueur for my wife. The environment lives up to the quality of the dishes. And also the bill, commensurate with the level of the restaurant. Absolutely worth trying.More

We booked this place last minute after seeing it in the Michelin guide and what a find! My wife and I just had a main and a bottle of wine. I had the beef cheeks and my wife had the chicken. Both dishes were outstanding....Very typical french food, executed to perfection. Our waiter was really lovely and even allowed us to take the half finished bottle of wine home with us. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough :-)More

We visited pot au feu 23.05.2023. I on my quest to find the best restaurant chose this as a tip from my friend and because it was on the michelin guide… sadly i dont think it deserves a visit 🍞The bread was mediocre , nothing...special but nothing too bad. What i did enjoy though was the spreads , those were unique 🪩The interior was small. There is a way to make a place cozy but pot au feu is quite crowded. 🍲For the food we had the.. ( viz pictures ) It was very underwhelming and i was disappointed by the very small selection of meals. One other thing that disappointed me was the fact that I really wanted to have something with truffles because i had heard pot au feu had truffles as a specialty. But unfortunately the only truffle meal they had was with a fatty rib eye. I requested if they could add it to my meal as a sauce and they denied. I understand it , but certainly didnt make my visit any more pleasant. Lastly the staff was kind , but certainly not attentive. They seemed a bit bored with their job and did not joke around with us or make us feel too comfortable. All in all i most likely will not be visiting this place again unless somebody alerts me of changes in their service. For a high end restaurant in the area i would much rather choose divinis or mlynec.More

Small restaurant with tables in the front section and a few in the back which is windowless and near the kitchen door and toilet, we originally were seated here but luckily there were free tables on the front which I feel was a much better...experience. I ordered beef checks which was in a red wine gravy with potato puree around the rim of the bowl, outstanding meal. Wife enjoyed cod, perfectly cooked. Dessert also delicious, I had chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream, was a mouth watering dessert, a touch small in size but it was hard to fault the taste. Outstanding food, I think I would ask to sit front of house if you are going to goMore

Excellent food and wine. Very attentive team of people. We really enjoyed our experience. As all the info says, of course, we were given bread and charged for it even though we didn't order it. But that's OK because it was good anyway and only...100czk. Would recommend if you visit Prague. It is close to Powder Tower. Thank you, Pot au Feu for a lovely experience.More

Had an excellent experience here, exceeding expectations. Very friendly service and fantastic, high quality food. Starters of poached eggs with mushrooms and a beautiful, refined bouillabaisse were followed by specials of chicken with tarragon and sublime pigeon breasts, with all of the accompanying parts perfectly...cooked and presented. It was also a pleasure to speak with the chef after the meal. Highly recommended.More

A fantastic experience, if this restaurant was in London there would be a 3 month waiting list just to get a table. Lucky to be staying right next to place and the menu posted on the outside caught my eye. *Please note that the menu posted outside is NOT the same as the menu you'll get when dining in. It seems it's a sample menu so keep...that in mind. Also, if you are using a translated menu, your menu might not have all the descriptions of the dish so ask for clarification. I was a little disappointed that I didn't know the salad was going to have a truffle dressing ahead of time because I would've ordered that instead of the appetizer I chose.* FOOD: Excellent dishes all around. We got one of the special (Duck Confit), steak, and beef cheeks. The Beef Cheeks were the best - so tender and flavorful and just a touch of truffle taste from the mashed potatoes. The onion soup was superb. The stand out food wise was actually the Mixed Green salad with Truffle dressing!!! It was so fresh and crisp and the truffle dressing was SO good!! I could eat that salad over and over again. Creme Brulee for dessert was excellent - great creamy texture and nice and sweet. Didn't care for the cheese plate and the fois gras terrain as much unfortunately so I would recommend you try something else instead. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE: Excellent service. - they even take your coat and hang them up on the coat racks. Felt taken care of. The Atmosphere was calm and serene - such a fine dining experience. The Women's bathroom was kind of a treat - the most fancy bidet I've ever seen. Price was not even ridiculous and definitely well worth it. It was the perfect finish to our European trip!More

We ordered chicken and tuna, it was very tasty. For dessert we took home made pistachio ice cream and creme brule, they were great. The atmosphere is calm, the interior is Nordic modern. The waiter was friendly and polite.

Not impressed at all. Yes, the starters were fun but mains were very very ordinary. Braised beef cheeks are not inventive, for example. Duck breast can be had in many an average restaurant and let's be honest, it's easy to cook at home. Eating out...at this level - and this price - should be about quality and precision that is impossible to do yourself. Frankly, very little there was. Gloriously overpriced too. Even an average bottle of French Chablis was about £70. And that was by no means the most expensive bottle on the menu. I left feeling a little cheated because I had been led to believe it was brilliant. It isn't.More
