The service really horrible. The food- ok ( not great). The waitress really rolled her eyes and treated us with attitude and not only her. Not recommended!

A great place just one block from the river to stop off at if you walk up from the city towards Vyšehrad then go on to explore the castle there. Friendly and not touristy at all. Great coffee and delicious looking cakes. When we passed...in the evening it was buzzing too!More
I live nearby this cafe and their Aperol Spritz is very delicious. It is quiet cheap rather than having the same drink in Old Town and its nearby the Vltava river. They are friendly comparing to other restaurants in Prague. Location is very nice and...reachable by tram. Pizzas are delicious. Servise quality is good. Prices are average. Payment by card is possible. They are open until midnight in good weather and weekends.More
We had not read the reviews before we went to Cafe Terapie. This place was recommended by our hotel the Park Inn. Menus are in Czech, the old guy was rude when we asked for menus in English. We were able to figure out a...few of the items on the menus written in Czech. It took a long time for our order to be taken, it almost felt like old guy wanted us to leave. The food was very good. It did take a while for us to get another glass of wine. When we were done it took a while but we finally asked the young lady that was taking care of the tables outside for our check. We paid and left. After we left we found out that we were charged for two additional glasses of wine that we did not drink...in summary...if you enjoy dining out with your loved one only to be snarled at by a rude older guy with personality dysfunction, and then overcharged for the pleasure of, this is the place for you!!...More
This is a nice little cafe/restaurant with some sidewalk seating for a nice evening meal. There is a good menu with choices of salads and other main dishes. A good selection of fish dishes as well. I chose the grilled salmon and it was done...perfectly. It was moist and flaky, not over done. It was served on a bed of green salad and the portion was just right. The service was attentive and timely. There are also some nice looking desserts, but will try these on my next visit.More
The staff helped us with the menu as our Czech is very poor. It is a lovely little cafe/restaurant and well located near tram and Vysehrad Fortress. Perfect except no credit card facility.
We just chanced upon Cafeterapie on our very first day at Prague. It is a well located cafe close to the river, with no ambiance to talk about but we were pleasantly surprised with the food. We went around 6 in the evening and though...it was full the waiting was not too long. Of all the dishes we ordered I would certainly recommend Pesto e Pomodoro secco which came with a generous sprinkling of sun dried tomatoes, Chevre Chaud a refreshing salad served with some toast with goat cheese and the Tiramisu which was just right. The service was fast and the price was pocket friendly. Good to remember that they don't accept card payment.More
Great little cafe - service was speedy and the food was delicious. I ordered scrambled egg with pancetta (which came with an orange juice and a cappuccino). Price came to about 159 kc each and set us up for a day exploring Prague - would...highly recommend!More
Found this place while walking to Vyšehrad and stopped in for a quick breakfast. The coffee was one of the best I have had in Prague and the Ham and Cheese toasted sandwich was excellent. It was accompanied by a fresh salad. For 175 Czech...Crowns for coffee, sandwich and orange juice it is certainly a bargain.More
We went there first night of our stay in Prague and then decided we could not have cake after dinner being too conscious about our weight. But then the whole day after we were both thinking about the cakes so we had to come back....No regrets!!! They were as delicious as they looked.More
I used to come to this place for years, as an expat living in the Czech Republic for a long time. Even though the food was nothing special and they regularly fail to provide fresh vegetables with salads, I overlooked that, because they were nice...to my dog and the owner would regularly feed him dry dog food (yes, we, the dog owners are suckers for whomever treats our dogs nicely. And, because of that, we tip nicely.) Anyway. This was not the first time that the service, comprised of a girl that is usually working the bar there, and some other youngsters, are unprofessional and take their time with orders. However, today they reached another level and I decided never ever to visit the place again. I finished my (again, not fresh) salad, after they moved me to another table, because a bigger group of people came and they needed the table where I was sitting (I didn't mind to move, why would I). I wanted to pay, but the blond guy serving tables told me that they don't accept credit cards. Hell, I knew that, but I forgot. I asked him about the ATM machine and wanted to go grab money, but he told me I should leave something, i.e. a phone, with them to ensure "I don't run away." I reminded him I'm a loyal customer who's been coming to their place for years, who knows the owner (albeit not personally) and who is always giving my dog food, and is very unlikely I would not come back. I told him I don't want to leave something, because it's matter of principle, not money. He remarked I shouldn't go out of the flat "without money." Then the girl, one of the long-term employees, told me they will call the police. I was astounded by this level of horrendous and aggressive attitude, to say the least, left my freaking phone and went to get money from the ATM. Upon returning, I told them I would never come back again. The girl said, "Well, that's your choice." I said, " No, it's a result of your behaviour." Not having any arguments at hand, she remarked at my bad pronunciation of a word "chovani," probably because, as most of foreigners, we can't distinguish the "ch" and "h," and called me "indecent" (I presume because of the similarity of pronunciation of the words "chovani" and "hovno." To cut the story short, the service there is unprofessional, shows no respect towards customers, obviously uneducated and with lack for culture, and on top of that - xenophobic. Now looking at the rest of the reviews here, there are many more talking about the low quality of service, so obviously I am not the only one. The point of the story is that the whole situation could have been resolved nicely. In the end, I would have left my phone, but the fact they did their best to humiliate me (instead of trying to solve the situation elegantly), talk about calling the police and remarking my foreign accent, is beyond belief. I guess, people like that rejoice even the slightest feeling of power they could have, because in the end, people like that never get to have any other kind anyway. So, goodbye, and thanks for all the bad vegetables. Ain't coming back here again.More
Nice staff, very good coffee, great eggs. What more do you want for breakfast?! We plan on coming back on our next visit to Prague to get some of the wonderful looking hams and to try some of the baked cheesecake.
We had the best food in prague here, very tasty and the staff was very polite. The risotto was delicious as was the paste en tiramissou, we go there again for sute
Really a well located restaurant if you are staying at the Park Inn with inside and outside seating.Well prepared food and outstanding homemade deserts.Be sure and try the Tiramasu.
Good location, very tasty food. But they dont have enough chairs for clients and they accept only cash.
